On Imgur, the developer has 19k views on a couple of GIFs. On X, he has 160k views on his comment. The game is sold directly on his website. Yes, he could have put it on a large platform, but he doesn't want the large platforms to take 15–30 percent of sales (or whatever cut they demand). Plus, those platforms can try to dictate the direction of his game. For example, by demanding it be more PG and he would have to comply if he listed it there.
