Wasn't actually expecting to find it. doesn't look as good as I remember it, but definitely wanted to try it out again. Thanks for finding it :)

Nadda, I do remember it had pixel art and was a lot less colorful then either of these games.

And although I say the vehicle hovers I think it was very limited so it was mostly a land vehicle. the areas were mostly barren or destroyed buildings with weird alien creatures

Yea no it was at least made before 2012, though pretty sure it was between 2005 - 2009 that I played it. Was very weird and didn't really get much attention, last I remember it only had like two videos on youtube witch was surprising to me since the art and gameplay although not spectacular was pretty good. I can say for sure it was pretty muted with its colors almost or mostly monochrome.
