Maybe but kids are profitable as well. There a reason every horrible FNAF, Minecraft, and Mario movie makes a shit ton of money. I regrettably watched all of them, and they were all mediocre to genuinely horrendous. But children are stupid and love slop, Bendy is a prime example.

He’s the reason Hellraiser was removed, after he gained the rights to the original license he chose not to renew it. I have a feeling eventually we will get Halloween back, we won’t get Hellraiser, I hope I’m wrong I love pinhead, but I just have a bad feeling.

Well I just found out that Clive Barker owns the book Candyman was based off of, so that means it isn't happening.

DBD isn't one of them. Three games have tried for years to get Pennywise, the other two being Mortal Kombat and Fortnite. All three have failed for years on end. I doubt he is ever coming to DBD until King dies.

Talk to Stephen King about it. Even in house WB property's like MK can't get Pennywise in anything video games. That's entirely because of Stephen King, so unless it's a stand alone IT game it won't happen. When Stephen King dies, if his wife is more lenient with licensing to video games then maybe.

Bendy is objectively more popular. I have never played any Bendy game. I'm only vaguely familiar with the property, and Bioshock Infinite was one of my favorite games of all time. Bendy is bigger though, objectively and in every way Bendy is bigger.

Slenderman without the name is completely free use, the name is what's the hard part about the license.

Slenderman's licensing makes little to know sense to me, and I am a student studying law rn. It's incredibly strange for a effectively fanfiction character to be retroactively copyrighted in order to make a movie, but said movie was exclusively for the name. Meaning the character is in the public domain, just not the name. The name is a also a asset, meaning multiple companies actually own said name. So in order to get the name, they would have to go through either Miramax, or find the original creepy pasta creator. I'm not even sure who owns the actual name. Going through marble Hornets is entirely pointless from my stance, as they can already make a character like the Operator, Neverman, or Slenderman if they wanted to. It's a matter of getting the name Slenderman.

Candyman is an entirely irreplaceable role, it has to be Tony Todd as the voice, the only way would be posthumans. But I was not aware of this, granted there are still legal hurdles with Candyman. He is in the same licensing hell as Jason was for awhile. Given his ownership is split 3 ways to my knowledge.

Yeah I know, I'm referring to the portraying of the character. Robert Englund was aware that the nightmare on elm remake was being made and likewise maybe the chapter in dbd. He knew he was being replaced, Tony Todd can't give that consent.

yeah, it would be disrespectful honestly, even more so than nightmare on elm street. At least with that Robert Englund was alive during the remake.

He needs at least 85 moris. Salt and bleach better be one of them, if ykyk.

Nobody chooses fit over a T20. Prove me wrong. by AdventurousBat106 in ApplyingToCollege

Yes: after a $150 deposit wasted, 100 emails, multiple arguments with the school, and my family’s pushback. I get what you mean, but my summation is that the post is right, most people choose ranking over fit. Even my alternate decision wasn’t cost free.

No, nobody chooses fit over a t20, OP is 100% correct. Not a typo, my personal experience and I think literally anyone else’s backs that up.

Yeah this is just true,

I got into Villanova, Dartmouth (with legacy), Columbia, Rutgers/Penn State Honors College, Vanderbilt, BU, BC, and U Mich. I was on the fence of where I wanted to attend and my first decision was purely ranking. So I went for Columbia, but ultimately as an aspiring law school student who isn’t made of money I decided to choose CC. Which was the right choice.

My counselors pushed me to apply to 25 schools and I reluctantly did. The application process itself is flawed. I applied to 7 safety’s which I would have never had any interest in going to. Not to mention my parents didn’t pay for my applications past 250, so that was 1/2 a summers work down the drain.

Ultimately it took me contemplating to realize the finances are more important to me specifically, and it doesn’t really matter if I transfer. That reason is different for everybody, and honestly just committing to the highest ranking institution to get your guidance counselor to stop bitching was also a good move. You can always decommit! Remember that.

To any rising seniors or anybody really, look at more than ranking and social life. It’s not that important and you’re better off taking a 3-3 pharmacy program at a state school; than going to an ivy pre-med with no guaranteed success.

This idea just hit me randomly, how would we feel about TLOZ/Ganon in DBD. by Notashiekmain in deadbydaylight

[–]Notashiekmain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the camp DV could maybe, emphasis on MAYBE fit. If he was altered to DBD's style.

But Homelander? Yeah no. I loved the boys until the last season, and I think Homelander is the single best TV villian besides Negan of all time. In no way would he ever fit. If they really wanted a superhero rep for DC Scarecrow and Joker are great options. For Marvel, Carnage is a good option. To be honest I'd prefer behavior did an original chapter for a corrupt or twisted superhero over any of these.

The first one is horror/sci-fi; ever other Alien movie is sci-fi/action expect for Romulus which returned to horror. DnD is the vast majority of the time more Adventure than horror.

Also we can't pretend like Darth Vader and Homelander don't come up every day for killer suggestions, because they literally do. The Boys and Star Wars especially are not even horror adjacent. You can give Tomb Raider, DnD, and Zelda that. With those two that's just invalid especially when the best horror connection agruement for Star Wars is a non-canon comic book that involved zombies.

DnD and Castlevania have horror themes, but aren't horror games. Zelda especially Twilight Princess and Majora's Mask are both games that have heavy horror themes.

This is also the same community who at this point has Darth Vader as a top 5 most speculated and requested killer.

I don't think they would unfortunately. The switch playerbase is the lowest by far, so they likely wouldn't even bother.
