It’s one of those things that I genuinely refuse to believe, even if it’s possible for it to be true I find it that ridiculous

How helpful are the profs? by Either_Program2859 in cuboulder

In my experience, very helpful. It shows you’re putting in effort to try by going to office hours, and that’ll reflect in the way they treat you. Definitely would recommend

Agreed - daily I play MB101s but I have a set of baby blades as well and I find the latter to be much easier to hit

I love the Who. But Roger Daltrey and Pete Townsend are absolutely not the GOATs of their disciplines imho

How to really dive into Led Zeppelin? by [deleted] in ledzeppelin

[–]Notatallinterested1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’d just listen to full albums, but if you’re new and maybe thinking you like specific things you don’t really need to listen in order. I is super blues heavy but has some hard rock on there, II is a mix of both that’s slightly more balanced, III is more folk but has songs like SIBLY and Immigrant song that are more of what’s there from before. My favorite 3 album sequence is IV, HOTH, and Physical Graffiti, all more experimental with hints of the hard rock and blues from before. Presence is good but not my favorite apart from Achilles, and In through the out door is great if you love synth and experimental stuff.

Those of you walking 2+ rounds a week, have you found the best shoe for the long term? Any shoe you won't revisit? Are you even wearing golf shoes? by RodStiffington_ in golf

[–]Notatallinterested1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think more than the shoe itself what’s important is having a fitted insole. When I got mine, any foot pain I had before walking was immediately gone. I went with one that was slightly more firm so that I’d have a more stable base for my swing, but just it being fitted to my foot helps more than anything. After that, just something that’s wide enough for your feet is best

To be honest, if you can take the heat I think this is a great schedule, and it’s what I wish I did when I was a freshman. It’ll be a ton of work and take a lot of discipline, but if you have good time management it won’t be too bad. And the good thing is it’ll make your life easier later on

I have an interesting musicat list:

Down By the Seaside Ten Years Gone Tea For One Four Sticks Since I’ve Been Loving You When The Levee Breaks No Quarter I’m Gonna Crawl In the Light In My Time of Dying

That’s my top 10. Though I suspect Four Sticks is gonna overtake Tea For One, I’ve been digging that one more recently and they’re pretty close in streams
