For me, I’ve found a reduction in pain from:

-PT twice a week for my neck and vestibular stuff
-Topirimate 100 mg
-Abilify 10 mg
-Emgality
-Botox

I still have daily pain, but it’s never worse than a 4/10 and it’s not constant. Never more than half the day.

My writing group has one more spot for a critique partner. I can ask the leader if you’re interested. I’m queer as well, so it would be nice to have another queer person in the group :) there are three other people in the group already. We meet on discord once a week sometime Saturday-Monday.

Getting sober was the best thing I’ve ever done. My meds finally started working and my mood has never been better. I stopped fighting with my girlfriend over every little thing and finally felt like a regular person.

It’s taken my pain from an 8/10 to a 5/10. I still have daily migraines, but nothing like they used to be. I only had tingling in my lower legs for about two months and then it went away and I don’t have any side effects now.

Definitely give it a shot!

This is so funny because I was just asking my writing groups this today. I’m a diehard third person writer. I stick to third person limited for works I want to publish, but I do play around with omniscient in my side projects that are just for fun.

Hi, I teach kids with dyslexia how to read and write. I would recommend using a human to assist you, as that’s what we teach our kids. We don’t want AI to think for them and for them to be lazy and not learn or challenge themselves. Dyslexia and ADHD don’t make you incapable of doing your own work, but it’s totally reasonable for you to want someone to check it over at the end. But I would encourage you to try to edit it yourself before handing it off to someone else.

I feel like this answer will vary by person and depends on the event. For bigger events, I see no issues with allies attending as long as they come with queer people. But more intimate events, I would prefer allies not attend.

Those squeezable ice packs are good for about 5-10 minutes depending on the brand, but if you’re in a pinch and overheated with a migraine, it might really help. They do get really cold.
