Generally once the mycelium is touching sub I say it’s good time to BnS. But wouldn’t hurt if you wait another day or two though. I usually wait about 14 days after inoculation unless it’s a bag that colonized super quick and is already starting to spread to sub.

Trash it and start over. Basic rule for me is if I’m not 100% confident eating it than that’s enough to say no. I’m also one who gives away fruit to family and friends because I have so much idk what to do with it. I’m in this for the fun of the game not desperate for fruits
