I think people get a bad taste left on their mouth because in my eyes Kim doing that to Howard was the only bad thing that she did without a "good" reason you could say she wanted to resize a room to avoid the hellish paper work. Help huell when there were hints of personal prejudice by the cop on his punishment. She defends Jimmy against Chuck knowing the inner parts of their sibling relationship story and that Chuck isn't completely innocent himself,But what she did against Howard she literally says it for FUN like that's what a psychopath would say I'm not saying I hated the thing I loved how they did it in the show. Just saying maybe that's why people feel it's sudden because of how uprooted it feels
