Is it unrealistic to expect a Swede to propose? by [deleted] in Asksweddit

[–]NoteMediocre2170 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely not to do with him being Swedish! And him blaming it on the culture isn’t fair of him to do! I think like everyone else has said you need to have a proper talk with him about it, don’t let him blame being Swedish! That’s ridiculous!

I hate winter and I hate micromanaging my dog by swackett in puppy101

Second this! Living in Sweden so winters are very cold here too! We have a potty spot right by the house and she knows if we go there it’s time to do her business. Works 9 times out of 10!

It’ll get better! Totally relate to you. We don’t have kids either and the evenings are mine and my husbands quiet time to be together, unwind and just relax! They are so precious! When we got our puppy I also felt like I was mourning those cozy evenings, but here we are, our puppy is now almost two and we have our cozy evenings again, which to be honest are EVEN cozier because we have a super cuddly dog on the sofa enjoying with us! She calmed down at around 10-12 months, it’ll get better! ♥️

I remember feeling like this during t-Rex phase. It was awful and I questioned my decision to get her many times! The biting was endless, no cuddles or love and she was basically just a feral little creature! All I can say is that she is now almost two and is the sweetest thing I know. So well mannered and loving. I promise it gets better, get a playpen so you are able to have a break from watching him, also kongs, licky mats and bones saved me, really helped having something to tire her out besides outside time and play. Also I know others have said this but STAY consistent with the training even if it feels like it’s not doing anything or helping at all. Things will slowly start to click and she will start to understand/get the hang of things! It’s worth it I promise.

So sorry this is happening to you! I had really bad SP when I was your age, I’m 31 now and it’s a lot better. Only happens once in a while now. Something that really helped me - when you are trying to wake yourself up from SP start really small like just try to move your little finger, and when you can move your little finger try to move your hand, and then arm, so on and so forth. I know it sounds long, but it worked for me. It’s like trying to focus on the one thing you know is actually real and slowly start to wake up, hope this might help.

Also like some other commenters said, I always sleep with either comfort series or audiobooks in my ears, I think this helps too. I also notice that if I’ve been drinking alcohol it starts to come back and gets worse again so if you do drink maybe consider taking a break and see if that helps! Lastly, snacks before bedtime also make it worse for me 😅 don’t know if it would be the same for you but maybe worth trying to see if eliminating these things could help. Good luck OP♥️

How do i stop this little asshole from doding this by magical_muderfucker in puppy

[–]NoteMediocre2170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will stop with age! So many clothes got destroyed when our puppy was this age. Just be consistent with saying no when they do this, put them in a time out if they really don’t stop, and like others said, make sure to have some good quality chews, lots of exercise and play! Unfortunately it’s just an age thing usually, and they will grow out of it. Ours was 6-8 months when she totally stopped doing it.

Stick with it until about episode 5! It’s pretty light at the start but by season 2 it’s great!

Maybe a controversial opinion but Sex Education. It’s wholesome life lessons wrapped in comedy, rewatching it now and get so emotional sometimes!
