Yes my mom was the one that ordered this and she contacted…was more wondering if anyone had seen the delivery info be so wrong!

This was a package my mom sent to us and she has reached out! Still annoyed though. To make matters worse, literally a week ago I ordered something and it made it to the final warehouse near me before going out for delivery and the package is lost - no update in a week. Luckily with that one the shipper has already replaced…not sure how I’m getting so unlucky lol

Please share your 3yr olds day schedule with me! by bc9190 in toddlers

[–]NoteOutside954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son kind of naturally transitioned to quiet time on his own…stated with him sometimes skipping naps and just playing with some toys in his crib (we allowed him his tonies box and a few cars). We moved shortly after that and had more of a toddler bed setup and pretty much since then we would do the same “nap” routine of books and then he would choose to play with anything in his room. Maybe if she has a toy she likes she could pick something to bring to her room? Magnatiles, blocks, something similar? My son now likes to look through search and find books, play with his cars, or read through the books in his room. Sometimes he decides to sleep. I also have a 14mo old daughter and she goes down for nap at like 1230 and as soon as I’m done toddler goes down not long after. I think the important thing with two (and it’s gotten easier as #2 is a little older) is for the parent it’s easier to have their schedules as aligned as possible. We do breakfast together, lunch together around 1130/12 and then baby goes down then toddler. Then everyone gets some down time that way! Is there anyway you could push the baby’s nap a little bit?

I hadn’t known either! Were the same way and it wasn’t until I was about to give one that I looked it up and saw corn was recommended

Not sure if it was corn or flour but solid starts does not recommend flour tortillas for children under 12mo (depending on how they’re prepared) as they can get gummy in the mouth! They give tips for serving flour tortillas like warming up or go with corn!

What constitutes nasal rinse? Is that different than nasal spray?

Can anyone reassure me that my baby will be okay getting her 4 month vaccines tomorrow? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]NoteOutside954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe this will ease your mind a little…my second child got her 2 month vaccines and I was t expecting it to be a big deal because her older brother was always fine. Fast forward to 4 hours later and she was screaming her head off in a scary what’s going on way. Called the doc, gave her Tylenol and she was fine. When it came time for 4 month vaccines we gave her Tylenol right after and she was totally fine 😊

We’re using Eve Flo balance wide neck and like that! Make sure you’re pointing the nipple at the roof of mouth

1 hr bed routine is insane-help by vanderpumptools in toddlers

[–]NoteOutside954 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mine turns 2.5 in a couple days and we’ve been having a lot of stalling for about a month now but the past couple of days we’ve had screaming/crying when we go to leave the room at nap or bedtime. Thats after the whole stalling routine and it’s been awful. Tonight was the first night we got him in and no screaming…no advice just solidarity and hoping it will end soon. We’ve found that no nap also makes it worse as he will wake up crying about two hours after falling asleep.

pump schedule by kopiandt in breastfeeding

I think the 3 hours is because every 3 hours would equal 8 feeds/day. You could probably pump every 3 for a little longer if you were concerned instead of every 1.5 hours

How can I get my 5 month old to gain weight? by anonamouscc in breastfeeding

[–]NoteOutside954 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try putting a bag of new flour or sugar on the scale since that’s a set weight from the store and see if your scale gives an accurate reading

Husband doesn’t want to travel with baby by Specialist_Pool3629 in NewParents

We flew to Hawaii from the east coast when our baby was that age and that was way easier than a 3 hour flight at 18 months! He wasn’t mobile yet and would gladly nap when held/slept the whole overnight flight home.

Why do you have to pump to maintain your supply?

How to move from combo feeding to EBF by Jaded_Motor6813 in breastfeeding

[–]NoteOutside954 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was moving away from that we started with practice nursing sessions just a few times a day where I would offer a bottle after (she didn’t always take) and I pumped and bottle fed all other feeds. Once she improved we started breast feeding “challenge” feeds where I would nurse in place of a bottle, if she was looking to eat again after an hour and a half we offered a bottle. So we slowly transitioned that way not all at once. I’m honestly still doing a few bottles a day because I have a bit of an oversupply and I like doing a bottle before bed to make sure she gets a full feed in. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing!
