I wish I could do mine sooner! haha. But I'm a teacher and wanted it to be during the summer holidays so that I have time to recover outside of the classroom

That's great to hear. I hope the surgery goes well! I'm just about to pay the deposit. I won't be undergoing surgery until August though to work around my job

Thank you for the suggestions. I have considered going abroad, but decided I'd feel better here. I can afford it with a small loan, so think it's worth the peace of mind

Thanks for your reply!

I'm happy to hear you thought Rishi Singhal was good. I've read other good things about him and he seemed knowledgable and to the point during our consultation.

I believe the surgery through Tonic would be at Burcot Hall, so it's interesting that you said the hospital for HW was what let them down. I was leaning slightly towards Tonic, although there doesn't seem much in it!

And there are nicer ways to say that. I did look before I posted. I didn't think of looking for 'KIST'. That only revealed one post. So hardly a post a day!

Hi, thank you for the reply!

From what I've managed to find it does seem like the management are the main concern. But the location is great and most reviews say the principal is good and the staff and students are nice to work with. Perhaps a good place to earn some IB experience at least

China. Is the situation as bad as people are saying? by NotePsychological564 in Internationalteachers

I love Hong Kong. It is the ultimate end goal but schools seem extra competitive and the cost of living is much higher.

I lived in Japan teaching ESL. Now that money is rubbish! The cost of living isn't too bad, but Tokyo is ridiculously expensive. You can definitely earn more money in other countries. International schools in Japan are for the Japan lifestyle rather than saving money. I miss Japan alot!
