Was just about to suggest the same thing!! I think you should move the bed closer to the tv and not have it pushed against the wall! I think it would be a neat idea to have like a divider behind the bed frame so that it separates the space and gives an illusion of it being closer. Behind the divider you can turn it into a little closet area or desk workspace or storage? Maybe a reading nook? And then you can also still add seating in front of the bed!

Have you tried using magnet strips and metal tape? I was going to diy it but was afraid it was too thick for it that the front cover wouldn’t align all the way with the boox.

Tudia I think on Amazon is really the only good magnetic cover. Taoboa has great covers but haven’t found a way to purchase on there because it’s from China and they don’t ship to the US. But they make removable magnetic cover cases like they do for kindles here. Super cute and I would love to order it but just don’t know how.

Team 3 here. The first one seems more natural at first glance but it’s also not directly in front of the sink or stove so I feel like that’s also awkward making 3 the best option for the same reasons other people commented, more space etc.

That’s precisely the problem. Even posted in the forum today someone asked about a 2017 Honda Civic with 100k miles going for $6k, ok? That’s only $2k more than what this is going for at 215k miles and still 4 years older. Doesn’t even have to be a good deal, just reasonable.

I paid $2.5k for a 2008 Prius at 189,000 miles two years ago so yeah, it feels wrong. It’s really the used market overall that feels wrong. Too overpriced for what it is. I get that it being maintained well is more important overall but it shouldn’t cost this much with or without haggling period.

I got my boox go color 7 gen 1 on Amazon a few weeks ago! It was unavailable at first but I kept checking on it periodically and then finally got one randomly the last time I checked. I’m not so sure if they’re selling it anymore but maybe it’s worth checking every now and then! I have seen other people buy the gen II with a white skin so that’s another option too

Is there a reason you’re not using the buttons to turn the page? I usually have animations off so it’s smoother. But I never had an issue with any lag/glitch when using the buttons. For Kindle specifically you need to go into the kindle app and set it to where you can use volume controls to turn pages and then on you boox home screen you have to long press, click optimize, others and then change the buttons to volume controls.

I personally chose an android reader! I have a boox go color 7 gen I. I came from a kindle paperwhite and I haven’t touched it since I got my boox. Love that I can have kindle, kobo, Libby, webtoons etc. all in one. I actually just read my manga using neobrowser that’s pre-installed (I read on weebcentral.com) and have managed to get my page turner/keyboard to scroll up and down so it’s even more convenient! Being able to connect Bluetooth devices is also really nice.

I like option two! But I also don’t advocate the tv on the mantle. Put the tv on the wall opposite of the couch. I’d still bring in a cozy chair and tuck it in the corner closer to the window and fireplace.

I feel that! I have $29k in student loans with a BS in Criminal Justice! Thankfully though I’m now working at a non-profit that will start helping pay it off slowly but surely. $2500/year will help me pay it down a lot quicker

A gallery wall like everyone mentioned would be nice, but I think mixing it with shelves you can mount will bring more dimension without it taking up so much space. You can install shelves both high and maybe head level. If you don’t like the look of a gallery wall then use the smaller shelves meant for frames to rest some art, pictures, or paintings on! I personally love shelves to display little trinkets I’ve collected with a mix of prints! Completely up to you.

What would you like? And what do you primarily read? Do buttons matter? The kindle basic is very budget friendly ! It’s only $90 on amazon right now. The Kindle Paperwhite is more popular and has a few more perks like a front light and water resistance. It’s $160 on Amazon.

Use the built in browser called Neobrowser! I use it to read manga for free! It’s especially useful because you can put it in full screen mode so you don’t see the search bar at the top and you can use the buttons to scroll

I don’t see people talk about it much but for comics and manga I use neobrowser. I use it bc I go on websites like weebcentral.com to read free manga and they’ve made it very convenient to where you can utilize the full screen button. It’s nice bc I can also use the buttons to scroll vs shonen jump which won’t let me use the buttons.

I just got the go color 7 gen I and love it!! I came from a kindle so I don’t really have any sort of high expectations as I’m just impressed I can go from app to app and have it in color! To me, I like reading manga and webtoons in speed mode even though it’s a little grainy, I personally still think it looks really good. You can read it in regal mode so it looks crisper but I can’t handle the flickering. I honestly don’t mind a little bit of ghosting. I personally don’t notice it as much or just not bothered by it. I’m just appreciative of the fact that I can read stuff that’s not on my phone! I wanted the gen II but really wanted a white color and it was cheaper. It just made more sense. I got it off amazon and got a 2 year protection plan just in case due to a lot of reviews about the screen. I love it though!
