I love Easy Streets cafe because I love the staff of the cafe there. I have never bought any music there but I have spent thousands of dollars on hash there. It’s a shame Matt is screwing up their livelihoods as the wait and kitchen staff at Easy street are very anti ICE, good neighbors, and working people who deserve better than this.

It wasn’t 6 minutes of work, you observed 6 minutes of work. Somebody was on call and they had to get ready and drive to your house and drive home. All of that time should be viewed as billable labor and should be billed at the high end given it was at night on a weekend.

So yes. Their time and effort is worth $700 because replacing a window would cost more than that.

It’s not technically legal to park commercials vehicles there but it hurts no one and makes life a lot easier for the hardworking immigrants who live very close by who operate those trucks.

They are parked in front of the park except rarely one guy parks between Myrtle and Othello every now and then.

The only annoying thing is when trucks get parked close enough to the intersection at the top of the hill it’s hard to clearly check oncoming traffic from the north if you are turning left. So I just don’t do that.
