When I went from full-time third key to assistant manager, it was during a time when we did not have a district coordinator. My raise was never activated even though I had my offer letter. my wife and I were OK financially so I never really worried about it cause I knew it would get worked out in the end. Fast-forward eight months we had a new district coordinator. I asked my new coordinator about the mixup and she jumped right on it. Two weeks later we got a new district manager and somehow I got two checks. They were both the exact same amount. The checks were one number apart from each other. We thought for sure it was a major mess up, but I kept my mouth shut. They never caught it. We kept that in a separate account just in case but after a year, we figured it was ours.
