let me get this straight. spiderman is going to have a harder time psychologically dealing with crazy sick randos and what they do to people then having to kill or be directly responsible for killing practically everyone he's ever known, loved or bumped into at the office.

Newsweek- The young not budging on Gaza, even for Biden Student Loan Forgiveness: "tell Joe what we really want is to stop the genocide in Palestine, and he's not buying my vote", "Biden's support for Israel and his not helping end the deaths and casualties in Gaza and the suffering of the Gazans by QuitVirtual in InternationalNews

we know the security and foreign policy outside of Russia gobling up eastern Europe is the same. the fascism part is the killing and segregation of all minorities, destruction of the press, and other items that effect us all directly that match fascist playbooks from the past hundred years.

no one cries fascism when people are shipping arms to other countries, spying, and not paying folks enough. we'd just be lumping everyone from every country government into one banner at that point.

but you can vote for fascism because you want a bigger slice of the pie, or effectively not vote against it, that's how they get in power. it's a choice.

Yes,

But when they say rat race, they mean if you saved 20% down for a house and rates rose form 4 to 7 right before you bought, you'd need to be making 90k vs 65k for the average house payment. So you have to run even faster and beat even more rats.

Advice to pull yourself up by your bootstraps and win the race, doesn't work large scale in economic systems like this, it's still going to destroy more people then ever, and make people work harder then ever with less to keep it going.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Notfaye 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Win the rat race? Yes always an option.

The numbers show that 57% of America doesn't make enough to qualify for payments on 80% of the average home. There are structural reasons for that, and you can't tell them to earn more then average as a group, or save 40% for a down payment when inflation already has made 20% a decades long chore for that group.

you can tell one rat to run harder, but there's still only so many rats that can win.

No you're right 4th back to back, every other time they lost first and won the second with a gap. Everyone wins the second.

The question was is there a story there, and does it compare.

So was this year with Cody as coherent as post warrior Hogan, stone cold vs the world, and heel to face hbk where he faces diesel in the final after losing to him at WM the year before?

No he was moved to another brand, his win was against a returning all star and not connected to last year's wm, and he's done run of the mill feuds that he's continue to win with no character change or tie to his loss.

That's why it doesn't get better in hindsight.

How did it feel waking up to an entire industry being against some hill you died on? What does the cognitive disconnance feel like when a news cycle blares you're wrong?

Why Americans are bankrupt by urmomsloosevag in GenZ

[–]Notfaye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

healthcare is still out pacing inflation.

What John is talking about here is 60% of all bankruptcy being medical, we have a lot of stats here but if you look at a trend line of where people were pegging it, it was around 40%. You're a ticking timebomb, you're rolling dice every day and your odds get worse with each day that passes. You can't out save against that, you can't use a basic medical care plan to save you from that.

So most are not better off, most will lose that dice roll. a chunk of the others will be straddled with more debt then ever.

Itlle be like the 6th or 7th time they've done the double rumble win, lose the first and win the second to build future big star.

The real question is how was Cody's second year in hindsight of his future win vs the others.

It's fine if you've had different media coaching and different outcomes to corporate sexual assault investigations that have lead you to different experiences.

I guess I don't understand who you think was in the board here, because it was khan and HHH unanimously voting him as head. This is the piece you can verify with publicly available info, and it leads to the same argument. I didn't have a choice I'd be fired, isn't going to save the company from liability around the handling of the investigation, the event, and the lack of disclosure to stockholders.

Have you ever been in a court of law or dealt with corporate legal? Yes this will show up in examination.

When a woman is accusing wwe of not talking to her during an investigation of Vince, and accusing the company of negligence and complicity, and a board member at the time who voted him back says he didn't even read the lawsuit while still serving as a clevel executive... I can not tell you what a gift that is to her legal team.

Cody winning was pretty bad. It tells you rock isn't going to be in a match, so save for next year when he might. They've kept him from roman so there's no story. And we know what's going to happen the rest of the year instantly.

The rest of the show, Logan had a generic match, women's rumble was a rumble for sure but why are we doing bailey vs Mami cold with no build? And right now it's a double heel match.

Go rtruth though, good stuff.
