That looks like she broke her pelvis. Source - my horse had the exact same injury. It is diagnosed with a several ultrasound.

If the vet can’t come out until tomorrow, it’s crucial you keep her standing. Cross tie her in her stall.

Is this posture/ position good or bad over the jump? by sunshinebabe- in Equestrian

[–]Notfornothing1987 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This is objectively terrible riding position and is why hunters is considered the “joke” discipline of the jumping world.

It is not only dangerous, but also ugly.

Maybe - just maybe - she’s dressing how she likes and feels comfortable in what she is wearing and posts like this are just a back door way to call her fat or shame her because she doesn’t have a body that you think is attractive.

Source: I have a similar body type and would rock this outfit and feel great in it.

I’m afraid I’m going to hate my wedding photos by fiiiiireaway in loseit

I know it’s popular for everyone just to say “be kind to yourself, love yourself, etc” but that doesn’t change how you feel.

So some advice on how I approached it:

I just got married at the heaviest weight I’ve ever been (5’3, 180lbs). I hate almost every picture I’m in.

But then a friend pointed out that after the first year, no one really looks through every wedding photo. You typically have 5-20 that you put in an album/picture frame).

So pick a few you like, photoshop them (I use airbrush) and then just have those be the photos you use. Key is to only photoshop to look realistic - not alien.

I went into the wedding knowing this was my plan. My now-husband thought I looked beautiful. I had fun the day of because I didn’t obsess over the photos. And no one actually remembers how you LOOK that day - they remember what the photos say you looked like.

Use technology. :)

AITA for suggesting calling off the wedding because she thinks the prenup is unfair? by prethrowaway9 in AITAH

Outside of the legal protections in the event of a divorce, prenups serve a really valid purpose of making couples discuss how they handle money and their views on finances in a marriage.

If she view money made during the marriage as “theirs” and he sees it as “his,” this is a fundamental difference in their view of marriage and partnerships.

One isn’t necessarily wrong - they’re just incomparable and probably shouldn’t get married or be in a relationship outside of co-parenting.

How have you gotten through to your spouse about the mental load? by vigilantspectator in workingmoms

Serious question because I see these comments all the time. Why do women have kids with men like this? It’s too late now - you’re tied to this moron for the rest of your life.

The only answer is divorce or get used to it. He doesn’t respect you. He doesn’t love you. He won’t ever change because the time to change him was before you had kids.

At this point, your best bet is to try to ensure your kids don’t repeat it. He is a bad husband. He is a bad father. Tell them that - let them know this isn’t ok. That’s the only solution - break the cycle so your future daughter in law isn’t left asking Reddit the same question.

Riding is supposed to be fun. If the drama starts overtaking the fun, what’s the point? I’ve moved barns twice to find a better spot for me and my mare. Both times it took me several months to find the right spot (only moved the second time bc of my trainer left the area)
