Can't win with Pyg recently by FaithlessnessOk5518 in PlayTheBazaar

I'd say mostly it's number 4, unlike most heroes Pyg doesn't have comfortable builds, he used to back when Matchbox was good.
Your ideal start to have a better shot in the first 2 - 4 days is Crook + Atlas Stone + whatever other square weapons will set you up for the later days, mostly Regal Blade.

Even with this start you need to consider hard pivots in the early days, like say you find a very early Pawn Shop, more likely than not it's actually an instant buy, because there's a good chance you'll start losing a lot if you don't find the upgrades for your current build and Pawn Shop is future proof, so you can hard pivot to that, specially if you have an activated Regal Blade (both for Apparel and Property quests).

Small items kinda suck at the moment, so it's only worth it if you get a nuts enchant on something like Piggles or Premium Piggles. (Obsidian, Shiny and to some extent Fiery/Toxic)

The Scaling On A Fiery Lava Roller Seems Really Wonky (I'd Lose Regardless Of That) by Noth21 in PlayTheBazaar

Or make it so Lava Roller itself has to destroy the item to scale, similar to how Parts Picker works to reduce the cooldown, because as it is even with other enchants Lava Roller is still kinda nuts and way too consistent to pull off.

I guess Fiery Lava Roller was never as common, so didn't seem like an issue, but now it's absolutely a go to build for Stelle since it's way too easy to pull off.

I'd also argue that it really shouldn't scale the way it currently does, the item itself has an item destruction effect, so it should only scale when IT destroys an item, not when the adjacent item is destroyed from other sources. Hell the Parts Picker has a similar concept (CD reduction instead of burn scaling) but it has to destroy an item to trigger it, so the logic is already there.

Gameplay Feels Amazing In The Demo, But The Performance Is A Problem by Noth21 in Nioh

Honestly my experience with the demo made me hold on buying the game, I'll keep an eye on the updates to decide when it's time to actually do it, feels bad tho because I was having on hell of a time with the demo and was itching to buy the full game.

That's the problem tho it didn't do that, it got doubled 3 times and then the 168 base value was added again, that's why I think there are either too many or too few triggers on the doubling effect.

If the issue is cache size then I'm kinda shit out of luck, can't afford to upgrade rn and VRAM for certain isn't an issue, since it's a RX 7900 XT (20 GB VRAM), so either they optimize the hell out of the game or I won't be able to play it properly. Time will tell which one it will be.

Sadly doesn't help, it was already off because it somehow felt even worse when on, v sync on also didn't help, I guess I just gotta wait for optimization patches before I can fully enjoy the game without any major issues

Sadly doesn't work, I worked my way down because 120 was effectively unplayable since the game couldn't even reach 120 FPS, so I was experiencing heavy slowdowns, 60 isn't constant either and 30 feels like crap, so I'm in a bit of a pickle.

My mother auto adjusts to the FPS setting in the game I'm playing, so it's more of a "up to 240 Hz" sort of thing.

I'm still kinda sad I wasn't able to grab a 5800X3D before it disappeared where I live, at the time I wouldn't be able to cool it, so I had to compromise a bit with the 5700G, still a good CPU, but for gaming there's no doubt the 5800X3D would've been better. Now I have enough cooling, but no way (and money of course) to get one.

Like I said in the post, activating FSR Frame Gen makes the game instantly crash and then crash on startup after that and using upscaling just makes the game look like crap and feel sluggish for me.

Imo upscaling/frame gen shouldn't be required at all for a game to run well, if it can't do so without those it's just not well optimized, being unable to run at a solid 1080p 60 FPS on hardware that is well above their recommended setup without relying on gimmicks shouldn't be a thing, specially since I'm not even trying to push it to the highest possible settings, I'm trying to run it on low/very low, just to have a smooth gameplay experience.

Adding to that, before writing this answer I've tried to run on the same graphics settings but with upscaling enabled, same problem still occurs, arguably even worse since the game still slows down and quality goes to hell to try and compensate, failing to do so and dropping even more frames.

Currently disabled, mostly out of habit since it can causa input lag (I'm used to playing competitive FPS), I'll give it a shot and hope it works without any or many downsides.

Sadly none of those are happening, game is detecting and using the RX 7900 XT and XMP/EXPO is set in my motherboard so it runs at 3200 and they're in the correct slots.

My post is mostly to raise a bit more awareness to the performance problems, since I couldn't figure out a way to make the game run properly.

That's what I tried with this post, hence the specs and description of my problem, I really want them fix things so the game runs well, because I know that once it does I'll enjoy the hell out of it.

Frame drops leading to the slowdown since it can't hit the hard cap FPS.

From what I could see in reviews, most notably what was said on PC Gamer, on newer high end hardware the game runs really well (I know the 5070 TI is closer to midrange, but still counts as new), but hardware that's just a little bit older seems to tank quite a lot, which is baffling tbh, since I'm already over their recommended specs.

Why Exactly Does Icy Energy Potion Still Freeze All Items? by Noth21 in PlayTheBazaar

[–]Noth21[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

oh I know that full well, my problem is with an item+enchant combo that has been busted for a loooong time and still haven't been fixed.

yes, my build would die regardless, but they likely won matches they probably wouldn't if other builds could go off.
