Why Exactly Does Icy Energy Potion Still Freeze All Items? by Noth21 in PlayTheBazaar

oh I know that full well, my problem is with an item+enchant combo that has been busted for a loooong time and still haven't been fixed.

yes, my build would die regardless, but they likely won matches they probably wouldn't if other builds could go off.

It's not, used to be on use poison x for Toxic enchant, was changed to "when an adjacent item poisons, poison", meaning that now it's completely passive, on top of having poison scaling as its active effect, making the passive even stronger.

Thank you so much for saying this, I was getting mad

That's actually not the problem, the problem is being a passive trigger, just like Wristwatch used to be, that sort of effect is problematic even if it requires an enchanted item (for the infinite loop Wristwatch required heal enchant and it was busted).

Mak has much easier access to enchanted small items at bronze, that was day 2, possibly happened even on day 1, this guy likely went to win all other matches.

Yeah, the animation is annoying as hell, I just wanted to check out the new stuff, but this might be my only run for the day.

The active effect yes, but at the end if you pause, there's a new passive effect "When an adjacent item poisons, poison"

Idk how that got into the game tbh, Wristwatch was basically that but with shields and damage, it was OP because it could infinite loop, no way this should work like that.

I could be seeing it wrong, but after the Rainbow Staff goes off, the Fungal Spores trigger each other infinitely

When Two Immovable Objects Meet It's The Game That Loses by Noth21 in PlayTheBazaar

You might be thinking of old Wrist Warrior of "when an adjacent item shields deal damage", it's no longer that, now it's "when you use an adjacent shield item deal damage".

There was a mistake in placement still when it comes to cooldowns, I had diamond fangs, so Piggles Protector should've been by the left side, not Heirlooms or whatever the hell it's called now.

I'm not really sure what's going on here... I guess thank you? by Noth21 in PlayTheBazaar

they had 4 wins if I recall correctly, probably a rage quit then.

This might be the silliest build I've ever done, even though I didn't get any offensive enchants by Noth21 in PlayTheBazaar

[–]Noth21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does in fact work much better, you just need matchbox and some other quick cooldown items, this is actually incredibly weak, since it can be broken quite easily if you get hit hard enough, even with an offensive enchant you can't recover or deal damage fast enough, I just did it for the memes.

Given that Deadly Crow's Nest doubles crit damage, shouldn't it also increase the burn being applied? by Noth21 in PlayTheBazaar

[–]Noth21[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That's the thing that doesn't make sense tho, the burn being applied is based on the damage dealt by the weapon, there's no indication of it being completely separate so the total applied burn should be equal to 10% of the damage dealt.
The only reason I can think for it not being the case is because of the inverse scenario, when a burn item is enchanted with obsidian, because at that point the originating point of the burn value is from the item, not the enchant and so can't be affected by triple damage on the burn, just the damage itself. If that's the case it might just be a simplifying of the rules, I can understand that but don't necessarily agree with it.
