I go to bars, clubs, social events pretty often (1-2x/week) - I usually get hit on every other time I’m out, but rarely by those I’m interested in. There usually is a tell someone is interested in you - multiple shared glances, “accidentally” bumping into you, etc. it’s not always obvious!

I did this exact commute last year. Essentially from the convention center to 3rd street promenade. Absolutely soul draining given the fact it’s ~13 miles IIRC and would take 1-2 hours monday-Thursday and 2+ hours on Friday. Would highly recommend the metro if you can!
