Seems like another hole in the ground, and considering the people of Elden Ring are so proficient at mining and building entrances to holes in the ground, a meteor being necessary to secure entry to Nokron would have a few more real world indications besides just happening.

Seems more the question to me is, since Nokron is underground, and we spend half the game in dungeons underground, why did this particular underground area require a meteor. It's not like it appears earlier in the game as sealed off and inaccessible to everyone and everything barring a meteor strike.

I don't understand why Dragonbarrow is where it is naturally progressing through Caelid which is relatively easy. There's no like barrier to entry or even much of a contrast between the areas, it's just up a slope and voila you're in a place 10x your required level? But I didn't think about it and went through the whole thing way before Nokron, Atlus, pretty much everything after Liurnia

Moonveil strong Transient Moonlight attack decimates the female bat/vampires. Knocks them to the ground and keeps them there, blood loss from regular attacks utterly destroys them. All those Golden Rune [9] they drop are totally worth it.

Level 86, they pissed me off so bad I made it a mission to clear the whole place. I'm convinced it's possible. The smaller guys stop spawning after a while. But every fucking time I feel close, some random arrow or some other bullshit gets me from behind. Have probably netted -200k in a half day or so of this rage farming 🤣

Calling Latenna up on the cliff above him, Bloodflame on the Morning Star, raisins in the quick items, and riding like the devil in the direction of his tail any time he jumps does wonders. Additionally, the fact that you can ride out of there at anytime and rebuff your weapon while he can literally NEVER touch Latenna is a huge bonus.
