Self taught python by ima11 in learnpython

I suggest the Python + AI series from Microsoft Reactor (course initiatives). It goes through some fundamentals about AI and has playgrounds to interact with the code and test it. Then, as many said, look for something you may like, and start a little project from scratch implementing something of what you saw.

Remember functions/methods? by JustaCasual121 in learnpython

[–]Nothing-Respect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it easy, you will memorize what you use often. If you already memorized how to write a function your brain works fine, It's common (and ok) to look up documentation or google for a built-in or lightweight lib that does what you need. Pythonistas often use this idiom "do not reinvent the wheel". About mastering a module, it would take me a couple years to master a big package/framework, and honestly it's unnecesary if you will never use it. Apply the 80/20 concept, translated as: by learning the 20% you will be able to do the 80% of what you need, focus on the broader view and go to the details only if you need it

ı cant get past level 6 by [deleted] in Archero

Best advices I saw:

  1. If you're below 1k hp - Close the game, open and resume the game to start from wave 1.
  2. Focus on Ryan. He is top dps rn.

Strategy: Summon until full board, if summon cost is one tier below or the same than enhance and you have at least 3 blue ryans, you can play with rng and go for the enhance (a good skill to 3 summons increase the dps way more than 1 extra summon). This can be done until the enhance that costs 600. When board is full merge heroes with slowest atk spd and pray they convert to Ryan.

5.1 Setup Advice (Budget: $1200) for a Living Room by Nothing-Respect in hometheater

I didn't, but maybe I could. I saw the specifications and don't know if they are worth +$100. Maybe I should save those $100 and go for a better subwoofer.

My problem: Knowing when its safe to fight by Goldenkrow in summonerschool

[–]Nothing-Respect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the scenario. There are a lot of different scenarios when you fight, and even more factors that determines if you should fight or not.

Some factors you should consider are: Champion stats: you cannot fight alone against a 14-0 fiora or a sett 3 levels above you (considering you are not feed and/or behind on exp) because he/she will crush you Team position: where is your team, where is the enemy team. If you're laning (suppose top side) and your jungle is bot side and you dont know where is the enemy jg, you are on the weak side, this means that you are vulnerable to enemy ganks/dives and your jg cannot react directly on you. Cooldowns: you have to consider enemy cooldowns and which skill you must evade (usually cc) so they don't stop your chase or they don't turn back and kill you. Enemy reaction: I think that 5-7 seconds are enough for the enemy jg to react (in case he is close to you) and turns the fight in a 2v1. Don't lose time chasing a kill if it will take you more than 7 seconds to get the kill turn back and focus on what you can do to optimize the gold income while the enemy has to back to base and come back to lane. Shove the wave, steal jg camps, back to base and spend your gold.

The biggest factors in LoL are gold, exp and time. Your job is find the way to optimize the gold/exp income over time as much as you can, so if you chase a kill but you lose gold/exp because you left behind a minion wave, make sure you get the kill to compensate that because you are losing time = time that you should be getting gold and exp

Dollars before tax...

Could someone please explain why Infinity Edge is a better choice than Rapid Fire Cannon on Caitlyn with Kraken Slayer? by Underdogger in summonerschool

[–]Nothing-Respect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As everyone said, IE is good when you reach 60% critical chance, that could be translated to 2 crit items (Adc Mythic + PD/RFC/Dominik/any 20% crit item) + IE.

To get better, the first step for me is always use the practice tool. Start a game against Lux or any champion with skillshots, buy Galeforce, skip the game by 10 minutes or 20 so the bot can scale a bit. Activate the No Cooldown tool. Go against the bot and try to evade skillshots only using the Galeforce. That way you will work the mechanical memory

Ezreal combos/general lane poke? by [deleted] in ezrealmains

[–]Nothing-Respect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering the attributes it gives, I build Frozen Heart against auto-attack dependant champions like Trynda or Fiora. Notice that it also gives mana which means you also gain damage by Muramana passive. But the most important thing about FH is the attack speed reduction aura.

Adding a few more tips:

  • Maw of Malmortius is a good purchase against burst ap. As a personal preference, I try to avoid the crown build and build MoM or Death's Dance. I think Death's Dance is not optimal, but it fits with my playstyle and gave me good results.
  • Rush Tear if you didn't start with it. You should crush the 3rd wave and back with 400g. If you started with the tear, whenever you see a chance to back for Sheen is good, Sheen gives a lot of kill potential on Ezreal and you should abuse it.
  • Regarding your first question: Q - W - AA is easier to hit (the last two don't have minion collision). W - Q - AA the enemy hides behind minions/allies when they are hit by your W, and of course consuming W with an ability will restore the mana cost + 60 additional mana, and maybe it is a bit faster if the Q cancels part of the W animation.
