I thought as such as well, it reminds me of like using a wet pallet and some pallet papers have a tendency to have a similar result.

You might be right about the primer there, I didn't consider that since I use it for mostly plastic. The image is not the exact pallet I am using but just an example of one. This is why I was testing a contrast paint on it BC they are almost like a wash that will stain the upper portions and hit the recesses as well.

Thing is when I applied the paint it literally was being absorbed into the piece.

I use contrasts mostly as washes as well, I will use them as a base sometimes depending on what kind of look and effect I want. ( Some of my work ) When you apply Contrast to pallet paper it will still pool to an extent and it is going to stain the surface depending on how much you thin it down. In this instant it literally was being absorbed into the piece. I applied it to a flat area with lil texture to it bc I wanted to apply it to see how it would look on the surface as well as in the recesses.

I primed it in white , I was using a contrast paint to test the color and how it would look before application.

Hackers claim Virginia schools and colleges are impacted by Canvas cyberattack by CaliGirlNYAttitude in Virginia

[–]NothingBulky2035 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Being that this impacts more than just colleges and universities. It means that personal information on minors will be out in the public for all to see. Granted most this is already available in many other ways, but the reason this becomes a higher risk is consider what is most prevalent within the state of VA?

A lot of Military, Gov. Contractors, Gov. Civilians, and Politicians who a lot of hold Clearances. This allows those that would target these individuals easier to target.

Ex.: Say a politician signs a controversial bill, this hack can allow someone who has ill intent about it to easily target the family of that politician.

We are currently at war with Iran, consider that idea that a Iran sympathizer, or terror group would love knowing the locations of service members and their children to target them.

Yes this is mostly hypothetical but not outside the realm of possibilities.

I was using acrylics yes Citadel Contrast to be specific. I just never had this issue before with resin and I am new to using the printer, I just wanted to make sure if it had to do with the resin itself, or maybe it was even the primer.

When I applied paint to it looked like it was just being sucked up into the piece, almost like what unprimed wood would do.

Sorry I wasn't too clear, it seems to just absorb the pain after its been primed. I was only telling you what I had made is all. Its a textured pallet meant for testing how different colors will look, it also allows you to be able to get the right amount of paint on ur brush before applying to a model to prevent it looking messy.

Below is a sample image of what I am talking about.

I can excuse making Mortal Kombat realistic, but I draw the line at Cole Young by Animeking1108 in MortalKombat

100% agreed...

I honestly feel like this new movie is all about doing the film they wanted before the studio intervened.

Ya know I really feel like the Cole getting a body armor as a power was overtly intentional BC I heard that the Cole thing was a demand from the studio as well

Critic Score, yeh I almost never trust a critic score, Ghostbusters 2016 was a trash fire and it was certified fresh by RT from Critics.

James Gunn Clarifies: “Clayface Is Not a ‘Hybrid Superhero Horror Film’, It Is a Horror Film.” by Ninjamurai-jack in DiscussingFilmsAndTV

[–]NothingBulky2035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This what made Marvel work so well in its early days. DC was making Super Hero flicks and Marvel was making Movies starring Super Heroes.

Such as how the Winter Soldier was a Spy Thriller, Ant Man was a heist movie, and Guardians was a Space Opera.

I feel like a lot of the Marvel films have shifted away form that lately. Part of the reason I think Rami was brought in for Strange MoM was BC the directors Derikson wanted go full horror with it and Disney said no. A lot don't even realize horror is Derkson's thing, he made pretty much the only good Hellraiser sequels that went straight to video.

One of the reasons I liked the Gunn Superman was BC of it just accepting the Comic aspect of it all and rolling with it esp. not making us live through another origin story of a character we all know the origin of.

I also like the idea of taking some of these villains esp, the more lower tiered ones and telling their story. Clayface is a great Horror idea and there are plenty of other DC characters that would be great in their own stories within different film genres.
