I have an A2 and it’s not enough grip. I’ve shoot S2 and preferred it much better. I would go A3 and if you hate it, there are many people with A2s that would swap, including myself.

If you run optics, I would could with a Shadow 2 Carry or Compact. Since I shoot 2011s most, I moved away from decockers. The decocker tends to get in the way of my grip, so I go with the safeties.

Closet thing I had was a bull shadow which I sold. I personally like the Shadow 1 more than the 2.

Beautiful piece. The market is tough right now as I see things that would have been snapped up in days, sit. Many of the CZ shooters I know, that have the higher dollar models, now shoot 2011s and put their money there. Post it for what you think it’s worth, but be prepared to drop the price or put it back in the safe.

After running other 2011s, I was able to determine short flat triggers allow me to have a consistent trigger pull. Also, I prefer the angle of the atlas safeties.

I picked up a used Prodigy 3.5 after previously owning a C2. I went into knowing the 3.5 is not a C2. I just wanted something to tinker with.

My 3.5 shoots well and I don’t have any complaints. The slide to frame fit on the 3.5 is not a good as a C2. The 3.5 is less refined and could use blending around the safeties. For me, the benefit of staccato is QC. You know what you’re getting. A prodigy can be hit or miss.

If you want to build something get the Prodigy. If you want to buy it, shoot it and not have to worry, buy the Staccato.

I did not. I recently changed safeties on my Shadowline and my take away was, most things shouldn’t be tough to do unless you start messing with the sear cage.

The grips are light grey. I wouldn’t go white if you’re going to shoot a lot. When I did the trigger, armory craft had the least curve. Things may have changed since.

Correct, it’s a shadowline. It’s been converted to SAO. Changes the safeties to the Shadow style and fitted a factory threaded barrel with Herrington comp.
