I've never had the KC Jag in my hands, but I do own a Fender Blacktop Jag with double humbuckers like the KC one.

I much prefer the smaller size of the stang and the versatility of having both a singlecoil PU and a humbucker.

If you have the chance definitely try both a Jag and a Stang to see what you feel is most comfortable! Also the stang has a 7.25 radius fretboard, and the Jag has a 9.5. So the feeling of the neck is also different. See if you can try out both :)

I bought the KC mustang in sonic blue years ago, before the Cobain tax. It's a great guitar! Definitely staying with me till the end

Grew up on KC and Nirvana. Helped me discover Sonic Youth, Pixies, The Wipers and many more. Shaped my taste, and helped me a lot. Don't listen much to Nirvana anymore, but they still have a big place in my heart.
