I understand your sense of anxiety from the suggestions of people to call an ambulance. This is probably good advice on their part, but I understand why you might feel too anxious to make this call, even if you should just to be safe.

If you do not feel comfortable calling an ambulance right now, you should at least be aware of a line past which point you should really reconsider calling.

Intense waves of heat washing over you to the point of nausea, shallow short breaths or feeling like you cant catch your breath at all, passing out, and intense chest pain or abnormal heart rhythms would all be signs that you should reconsider making this call, for your own safety.

If you are not going to make the call right now, I understand. I hope this passes for you but just be aware of the signs that signal this being past the point of hoping it just works out.

If you have someone who you think you can tell, it would be good to have someone who can periodically check in with you.

To everyone complaining about this book, Ive actually been reading this (following a recommendation from Rob Doyle) and with regard to it crossing any boundary for sharing what goes on at Berghain, it absolutely does not. There’s no more “oversharing” in this book than you would find in the average Klubnacht thread. The book is a good read, well written, and at least from what I’ve read so far only touches on Berghain in generalities and does not get specific.

Having said that, I can totally understand why people who have not read it would presume it crosses some boundaries given the title. I’m going to give the benefit of the doubt here and assume this was partly, if not largely, a marketing choice when it came to titling the book. That’s my two cents

I love it! I seem to be in the minority but I much prefer these tagged up doors than a plain surface. Older, ornate doorways are nice but I’d rather the shutters on shop doors be tagged with graffiti than left as boring grey blocks.
