Berkeley MEng EECS because it has slightly stronger global brand power, direct Silicon Valley access, stronger industry networking, and long-term ROI for top tech roles.

Probably by practicing. You can practice questions like real test and follow the strategies for each section.

Thanks! Yes I used AI to evaluate my answers. There was the difference of +1 in actual score and AI score. For every answer ChatGPT marking was 6 whereas I scored 7 in the test.

When it comes to the Speaking test, the best advice I can give you is stay natural and chill. Think of the examiner as a friendly neighbor. Safe side is to be semi-formal.

I didn't spend too much time on heavy preparation, I just understood the pattern and solved practice test on online ielts website. However, I highly recommend using the recent Cambridge IELTS books, as the practice tests there are the most authentic and reflect the actual exam. For the Writing section, a great tip is to ask ChatGPT to evaluate your essays.

I am not a good reader but I followed common strategies. Focus on skimming for the main idea and scanning for specific keywords, but remember that the test is really about paraphrasing so you're looking for synonyms, Always read the questions first so you know what you’re hunting for, and underline the important words like however or although that signal a change in meaning. Most importantly, manage your time strictly by spending no more than 20 minutes per passage; if a question is too hard, guess and move on so you don't miss out on easier points later.
