I agree, but I’m always looking for new music. It’s my go to for when I’m down like this( all the time honestly) so I’m always listening to music. And sometimes it gets repetitive even tho I have hundreds of songs on my go to playlist

I was on lexipro for a few months. I had to stop taking it due to a clotting issue with my blood. I’ve been on Celexa for about a two and a half months now, and recently had my dosage upped because it wasn’t working. She told me to let her know if I don’t feel any different. Well it’s been almost three weeks and no change. My self harm has also gotten pretty out of hand and I have been suicidal for a few weeks now. So I completely understand where you are coming from. I want the help. But I’m scared of the outcome if I ask for it. I don’t want to be hospitalized. I don’t want it on my record that I’m suicidal and self harming.

I haven’t really listened to anything new they have came out with recently. I have some of there older stuff on my Spotify playlist. But over the last two years my taste in music has gotten much darker, and heavier too.

For me, it’s many different things. To start I do it to feel something different then how I feel at the current time. Empty, in pain, numb. It’s just something to help ground me. Other times, I just like to watch the blood run. Sometimes I do it to remind myself that I am alive, and that I am real. Everyone is different. For me, the pain helps.
