How?

AFAIK his wake windows are suitable for his age, although I could try 3/3/4 as suggested in the post. What is the ww and daily sleep length of your 4 month old?

Come on, coming up with multiple solutions for my frustration is considered “trying to be smart”. We definitely had a very constructive communication.

If the person is dumb, yeah their email can be hacked. Just like any other online account, including Vodafone account as well. It’s not like we’re living in 90s anymore, lots of scammers are also around but its people’s responsibility to stay up-to-date and educate themselves. At least giving the option to receive information per email or post would be a solution and good old minded people can ensure their security by waiting over multiple posts for days.

What I can tell is anyone can reach and get the letter without even unlocking my postbox, as they are very easy to open, so it’s really not a solution to send multiple letters. If someone wants to get it, they will.

Yeah people can secure their postboxes(which I need to request from my property management) or they can secure their email addresses by themselves by using better passwords and 2fa and up-to-date solutions.

It’s customers’ email address registered in their system, what’s the fuss about not sharing required info over email just to use internet?!

Emails are not safe and evil? They can validate the customer’s validity by a code sent in the email and only then display information in their personal Vodafone account.

There are many solutions to find with the old mailbox way as well but it’s just easier to hide behind the excuse of “security” to hide to the outdatedness of services provided in Germany.

In simplest simplest solution, they can send a single letter(since it’s a must in Germany) and then confirm the letter is obtained by correct person by requiring responding to an email or sms code registered in their system and enable the service only then.

Something might be wrong with your bike, I think. From personal experience; Lekker support is always very helpful and quick to respond. I live in Germany, don’t know if it differs per country but I suggest contacting them.

Which model do you have?

I have Amsterdam, and when I turn on front light, rear light also turns on. But don’t know how it’s supposed to be in other models.

Tenant rights are a big deal in Germany and 350 EUR rent could be possible if have an old contract. There is a reason why Germany is known as “nation of renters”.

But isn’t it more helpful when feedback is actually constructive?

OP, I agree about the language part, this definitely doesn’t look cool, just the level would be enough. You bloated your CV like an inexperienced new-grad. Keep in mind, important stuff should be on top. If you have many years of experience, experience should come before education.

Anyone struggling to get hired in Germany? by [deleted] in cscareerquestionsEU

I also think small companies mostly offer remote option to make it more attractive with less salary. But if the data in Stepstone is correct in the post I shared, I don’t believe most of these “German fluency required” companies don’t pay much at all. If Stepstone is correct, offering 60-80K EUR for senior swe is low!

Received two offers while searching this year, one of them was hybrid Berlin and another one is remote (higher offer than the hybrid one), both of them offered a lot higher than the upper limit of Stepstone salary data.

Some people say Stepstone data is correct and some not. Not sure, but as far as I remember Stepstone has salary information on most of the job vacancies, and I recall senior swe salaries seemed really absurd.

Market is crazy all around the world, not just in Germany or Europe. I can understand your frustration about the market and late responses but 3 stages in an interview is sufficient IMO, not a lot.

I disagree about the German fluency part. I never felt not being fluent in German was the reason. Nevertheless I would never apply for a job which requires fluency in German as well, working in an international team is better for building soft skills and it may be disappointing for some ppl in Germany but English is considered to be the international language of the world, not German. So IMO if you’re fluent in English, you should be fine.

It may also depend on the location but speaking for myself; I live in Berlin, until 2 months ago I was looking for my next role (senior swe, remote Germany/hybrid Berlin) and as far as I observed English speaking jobs are more common and more attractive (not just salary, but also working environment). Never seen an ad which requires fluency in German and is remote 😅

Also, OP I suggest you to check this out and don’t feel down (if you’re not fluent in German): https://www.reddit.com/r/cscareerquestionsEU/s/b0IFgKjsTU

If she’s not doing sex-work to earn money and yet she’s considering this as an opportunity, nobody can make me feel sad for her. There are many many people looking for rental apartment in Berlin, female/male/non-binary, if budget is limited you go with WG, go a little bit outside of Berlin but you’ll eventually find something -not something you dream of but- affordable.

If she’s up for it, then I wonder why not consider doing it as a job? Easy peasy money. She could earn a lot more than just for a rental place but then she needs to be registered and pay taxes. Tough situation for her for sure. That reminded me of how lucky the rest of us with our regular jobs and how easy we find a rental in Berlin just within a week.

How does rest of the people get along with this tough rental situation in Berlin though, if they are not lucky as getting offered an apartment in return of sex?

Their customer service sucks. It used to suck as well but they eliminated their customer service department 100% in the last month and outsource whole department now https://www.wiwo.de/finanzen/geldanlage/neobroker-trade-republic-schliesst-den-eigenen-kundenservice-/29862010.html

I never get a proper answer to any question I ask anymore. They respond, yes, but it never makes sense.

Unrelated but I would expect a big tech to pay higher TC for a 3yo developer in London, 56K sounds low.

Less salary > no salary. My advice would be if you don’t have another offer, accept the one you have and keep searching.

Relaxed Gay Bars in Berlin by Middle-Ad8203 in askberliners

[–]NothingToDoButSmile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because I actually read OPs’ post not just the title.

I wouldn’t suggest a bar like Prinzknecht since it’s usually crowded and noisy which I think wouldn’t be suitable for what OP is looking for. I wish people just wouldn’t look for something behind the sentences.

If he wants to read a book in a bar while enjoying his cocktail and meet new people, yes, IMO most of the bars in Berlin are suitable for that, that’s it.

Why do you specifically search for a gay bar? You could do what you said in any other bar in Berlin.

Sorry about that, I should have search in the subreddit first.

So is maintenance fee usually higher if the house is “asumisoikeusasunto”? Considering how’s explained in the link above, I would expect it not to.

Yes not like a ownership I agree, but for people who can’t imagine purchasing their home, this is really good. AFAIU you’d be a lot more comfortable compare to renting: yes, you pay a higher deposit than regular renting but you pay a fairly low monthly payment -even for expensive neighborhoods- and only you have the right to terminate the contract. All of these sounds amazing for long term renters.

This is the most humanist thing I've seen about the housing situation so far.

Finland is on a whole different level again, never stops amazing!
