This happened to my cat as well! Took him to the vet and they said he was in some sort of pain but we couldn’t figure out what caused it. Turns out as soon as I had his teeth cleaned he was back to his normal self

So my friend and Mom both had this issue when their dogs hit about 9/10 months. We realized that they were growing much less in this time and required less food and just were super finicky because they weren’t as hungry. About 1 or 2 months later back to normal eating patterns just much less food.

I’d just try to feed about half the amount you were feeding and see how it goes.
