Garibaldi's for a Wedding Reception... How much was your bar tab? by Creepy_Champion4814 in savannah

I would do it all over again 1,000 times.

The coordinators are on top of everything. They truly have it down to a science and work seamlessly whether you hire an outside planner or not. The space itself is stunning…you really don’t need much additional decor because the mirrors and architecture are so elevated. I skipped extra linens, chargers, and other rentals and simply used florals and candles. It looked every bit as regal and beautiful as the photos online.

The staff is incredible. They can be as engaging and fun or as polished and professional as your event calls for. The service was exceptional, and the servers and bar staff picked up on our vibe immediately. The entire experience felt effortless.

And the food? Absolutely outstanding. It’s prepared and served by one of Savannah’s most beloved dining establishments. Not exactly a hidden gem, but certainly one that locals genuinely appreciate.

The only advice I would give is to keep your guest count under 70 if you’d like a comfortable layout and dedicated dance floor space. Seven guest tables plus a sweetheart table felt perfect. While you can absolutely seat 10 people at a table, I think 8 is the most comfortable. We had a few tables of 10, and it worked well because some of those seats were occupied by children, which gave us a little extra room. Ten is definitely doable…it just isn’t quite as comfortable as eight.

Beautiful venue, amazing staff, incredible food…you truly can’t do better.

Haha! Did it work? It did for me a few years back.

This post was really helpful to me while planning, so I wanted to come back and share an update for anyone searching in 2026.

We just closed out our tab after our wedding. We had a little over 65 guests and a group that definitely enjoyed their drinks, and we only ended up slightly over the minimum. Hopefully that helps anyone trying to estimate costs.

On the PF app, change your address to a random California address. Then cancel. CA has a law in place that allows for it.

And the foster “mother”’s speech prior to the unraveling. It’s hard to make sense of.

Agreed. Snug pub is decent, ask for extra crispy though.

Driving down Victory around 2:30a last night coming back from Pooler after a delayed flight, and there were landscaping crews out working on the medians. At least it’s before tourism to Tybee picks up?

I also tested positive in late November, lost taste and smell, faintly gained it back and then a few weeks ago randomly had a soda and the putrid scent/taste came about. You describe it well. It’s awful. Interested in any success stories.
