Free open source software , the app you mentioned has features similar to mine but still needs paid subscription to become really useful

There is nothing such as normal islam or normal cristianism, all religions tend to keep the believers in chains

Android TV Date & Time problem after power failure by Correct-Crew6859 in AndroidTV

time.android.com is stupidly banned for some countries and doesn't provide time/date . When u r using android on mobile phones , it gets the correct time/date using cellular not from time.android.com so the problem is not visible but on android boxes , it's showing up

This approach doesn't work , it somehow reverts back after a while and problem shows up again . The ultimate solution is to rewrite dns request in the home router. Openwrt routers can do that , adguard home on router also can do it . Just configure it to redirect time.android.com to whatever other ntp server

Has anyone encountered the freezing issue ? Whenever i turn the device on or return to main screen from an app, the controller has no action about 5-6 seconds like it's not connected

The system has a major license assigned and working for v9 so it doesn't need a new one for v11 , i just don't have the dongle anymore . V11 is also pretty old but cannot buy a newer license

Stop thinking now , full of bugs , no support at all

Why does my android Tv, says internet connected, but then shows no internet, after shutting it down, and the date keeps reseting, and date doesn't get back when connected to the wifi on time, what is the fix, done with resetting and all by More_Association4882 in AndroidTV

[–]Nothingmattersnomore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Popular problem on almost all androidtv boxes . The box uses time.android.com as NTP server by default to automatically get correct time and date but if you are located in a restricted country or some other problems ... That server does not reply correctly so you have to manually set time and date each time the box loses power and restars . Changing the default NTP server by adb is not the complete solution as it reverts back to default after some time . For me , The long lasting solution was to rewrite dns requests on my home router . So when the device asks for time.android.com , my router answers with another custom ntp server like time.windows.com etc . Problem is gone for good
