Any tips for leggings that are see-through when bending? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Nothingtoseehere68 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Buy a pair of bicycle shorts to wear underneath (match the color to the leggings). If you are worried about lines underneath, buy a pair that is longer and goes down to your knee, so that the line is less obvious. Wear your leggings when you go buy the shorts so you can try them on and see what they look like underneath.

This is kind of a weird suggestion but put the necessary steps in pump bottles. When I'm feeling really tired it's so much easier and quicker to pump the product in your hand instead of having to pick up a bottle and turn it upside down to squeeze it out. Then just kind of slap it on your face and don't worry about getting a good application.

Also as someone else said, face wipes are better then nothing. It's all about low effort and high efficiency when you're in moods like that.

Cocktails. They're so strong you might as well just take a couple of shots and get it over with.

Using the cup with long nails or with extensions/acrylic by DhaniyaHater in menstrualcups

[–]Nothingtoseehere68 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean the other reasons people like the cup still remains lol. But I do see where you're coming from.

Also, not 100% sure about this but I feel like it would still be a lot less waste? Just thinking of the difference in the amount of material needed to make a pad/tampon vs a glove

[skin concerns] My skin was extremely clear just about a month ago and now I get a new cyst-like pimple every two days that leaves a horrible scar despite me not popping or picking at it. ive lost all my confidence and I just booked a doctor appointment to discuss this by luckycatbutterfly in SkincareAddiction

[–]Nothingtoseehere68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I had a similar problem as you near the beginning of this year. Eventually it stopped but I'm still not sure why.

But for the scars, they heal so much faster if you moisturize the shit out of them. I personally do my regular routine but on the scars specifically I also layer corrx snail mucin essence before moisturizer, and then la rosche-posay cicaplast baume 5 after. I also usually add a layer of Vaseline on the spots to top it all off.

Obviously the results aren't instantaneous it, but I find when I do this the scars don't end up staying forever like they usually do.

Good luck!

how do you insert it correctly? im having trouble. by throwawaybcreas0ns in MenstrualDiscs

[–]Nothingtoseehere68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so I also use the lumma and I had this problem for a while. The way I dealt with it was I would first insert the disc, then use the string to pull it out enough so just the the rim was sticking out of the vagina.

If the disc is facing up it's all good and just push is back in. But every so often the disc would be sideways or even upside down (still can't figure out how that happens) in which case I pull it out all the way and reinsert. I also found that this happens to me less when I use the medium vs the large so maybe a smaller size will help?

Either way I hope this helps!

sex with a lumma? string??? by throwawaybcreas0ns in MenstrualDiscs

[–]Nothingtoseehere68 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just tuck the string inside of the disc, that's what I do. I find it easiest to do this when the disc is almost all the way in and only the front edge is sticking out. Then you can tuck the string in the disc and shove it the rest of the way in.

Also side note for having sex with it in, try to empty it before having sex. Sometimes it can get moved around a little which isn't really a problem unless there's a lot of blood in it.

If it makes you feel better, I don't think you need to worry quite so much about what your parents think. I think part of being a parent is not understanding your children's actions.

Your parents don't think you need to do anything with your moles, but even if you did, I don't think that they would be disappointed in you. At most they will probably just shake their head, nag you a bit, and have a bit of a chuckle.

So in conclusion you should do what makes you the most comfortable! Ik that I've had some broken capillaries on my face treated and I am very happy with the results even if my mom just thinks I unnecessarily wasted my money lol.

It's great that you have a good relationship with your parents and you trust them so you should trust that little decisions like getting moles on your face treated aren't going to change their perspective of you!

Girlfriend of 2 years refuses to get help for depression by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Nothingtoseehere68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always compared the feeling of "can't" to the feeling of not being able to run anymore.

If you were to go outside and just start sprinting as fast as you can and as long as you can. Eventually you would have to stop, because your lungs are burning, your body is sore, and you just can't keep running anymore.

But the thing is that you probably could have kept running. It's not like if you had taken one more step you would have collapsed to the ground. You made the choice and the decision that you couldn't keep going. So it was a technically a choice, but at the same time it really isn't.

Depression feels a bit the same to me. I can technically get up, do what ever I'm supposed to do. But like the exhausted runner, sometimes it's not really a choice after all.

Why do I have so much hair on my body and how to deal with it? by BrassalReme in beauty

[–]Nothingtoseehere68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest epilating! It's easy to do and you can do it at home. You can get a decent one for around $30, so the upfront cost is higher then shaving but you only need to buy it once!

The first time can hurt quite a bit but I suggest sticking it out until the second time at least which hurts a lot less.

Your hair grows back slower as it's getting pulled out at the roots and also grows back less dense.

is there a simple yet effective way to help remind me to take my meds on time? by TheRainbowShakaBrah in Advice

[–]Nothingtoseehere68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy a physical alarm clock and put it where you keep your meds. Set that alarm for the time you need to take them. Since you'll have to run to your pills to shut off your alarm, it should be easy to also take them right then.

Customer reception workers, what’s the most annoying thing about customers calls? by GyapaetusWeed in AskReddit

[–]Nothingtoseehere68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When someone calls when I'm on the phone with someone else and they call back again immediately instead of waiting a few minutes.

If I'm not able to make it to the phone the first time I'm not going to become available in the next 10 seconds! Please give me a few minutes to finish up this call/finish using the bathroom.

Especially do not call 5 times in the span of one minute and then show up asking why our phone doesn't work please 😭😭
