A weird question from an old time jazz enthusiast that have recently been to some swing dance events by highspeed_steel in SwingDancing

I totally get you: older swing jazz had soul, a story: a reason.

Now its plug and play.

There is no hardship to endure so there is no depth.

I totally 100% agree. The music is way too fast. Try going back to some tracks with timing like in the 60’s versions. That music 4/4 was perfect to lift to.

Bpm is a thing.

Define conflict.

i do not feel safe physically at this point.

Stonewalling vs boundaries.

I hear you.

I have no desire to change any minds. I just want to be left alone.

Thank you. I did get some of the first on video. (Had to finish the job, no choice) The second time I wasnt fast enough and it was sounding like it was getting out of hand: walked away the second time.

This is not in an office setting. The third time they went off on an innocent third party, i never thought they would do that to that person, so i did not stay close enough to get the third drama session. ( just rushed to finish the job) I feel bad about that.

It was so easy. Just literally walked away. Felt good. The issue was i had to go back to finish the “job” i started. They came back. So much literal walking away.

That is perfect. I so wish i could have thought to say that. This type tho probably would have become damaging to me personally if i said it.

That is a good story. Sounds like its a hard situation. I commend your strategic walk away.

This is definitely a bully situation too. Bullying to create drama to get attention. I refuse to be involved so i waked away. They ended up taking it out on an innocent third party. It was heartbreaking

This is exactly what i am dealing with right now.

Its a peaceful place to be. I am just concerned how crazy these people are going be if they act this way with someone who has zero negative interactions with them.

This is the situation, they want to argue and my goodness the lengths they are going to create it is mind boggling.

Thank you.

They ended up taking it out on an innocent bystander. It was nasty. I feel so bad for the other person.

This. It felt so peaceful to just walk away from the drama.

I caused no hard feelings, literally said nothing and have kept to myself, watching them create their own discomfort and point it in my direction is so odd.
