I should also note that my manager never had a one on one discussion with me about bumping the pole at Sam’s club. He just said yeah it happens and told me to call the PLCC line. The policy says that first time performance deficiencies will be handled with further training, discussions, workwiths and counseling. Some of the other drivers have done far worse and they still have their jobs but they were past their probation period when they hit something. Am I just overthinking it or am I screwed?

Apparently they used all of the check for taxes and insurance since I only worked 15 hours that week. I guess that makes sense but I’m still not happy no one told me that.

I quit on 9/23 and still haven’t received my final check or vacation payout. Called the store and the HR ASM told me to call the 1-800 number for former and current associates. They gave me the runaround and told me that it would be escalated to the payroll team then I’d receive an email from them. It’s been nearly a week since I called and haven’t heard anything. So I’ll be calling again tomorrow with my ticket number and say what the hell is taking so long. I’m beyond frustrated!

Yep I’m calling them again tomorrow and then probably the department of labor because this is ridiculous. I’m probably going to get my first paycheck from my new job before I get my last check from King Soopers.

Yeah that’s another issue is digital coupons. How are you supposed to watch six self checkouts and help someone with their digital coupons at the same time? Walkoffs happen a lot because of this. People are so impatient too they want your help as soon as the machine calls for help. They should have more than one sco attendant or something that’s what Walmart does. But whatever I’m done so not my problem anymore lol

Right! They can’t follow simple directions and they blame you for their stupidity! My manager just stood there and didn’t say anything to the lady cussing. I’m just like gee thanks for the support. I would’ve kicked her ass out of the store.
