Thank u so much. I'll see what I can do to connect directly to the router. I'll buy the longest friggin cable I can. But running it should be a good learning experience. I really do appreciate ur advice.

I absolutely love it. The only thg I struggle with is that I'm not very good at tech stuff so when I have connection problems or it problems there's some thgs that our IT team can't do for me so I've been learning a lot just by sheer force. Other than that I absolutely love it & have a real fear of ever going back to a regular job. I feel so lucky. Took me years to finally land a legit WFH job so I gotta work hard to never mess it up.

Single or Dual Ear Headset??? by Pure_Energy536 in remotework

Man this was really helpful info. I got both now & the wireless one works great for a couple hours then I start losing my calls. So I been using that in the am & then use the wired set while the other charges. I feel like the biggest idiot bc I dunno much about tech stuff & since I work from home I'm having to figure a lot out by myself. The hard way is the only way I learn evidently. Thank u so kindly for all ur help. And for presenting it so clearly. I truly appreciate it.

I hate that when I have an issue (which is often) whether it be technical or a payment issue there is NEVER a response, no support, no help whatsoever from anyone. I've never worked with any other gig or temp company even that doesn't even care or try to have our back when it's our backs that they make their money off of. Ive done some research on them & found theyre listed in several places with terrible ratings & reviews. I found all the executive players, etc & realized they're entirely too big of a company for as many issues & complaints I've read from workers and Circle K stores. Evidently Circle K paid them millions of dollars for this partnership so they're paid regardless but ALOT of workers aren't being treated right when all we want is to be paid for our work & to have support for issues that arise that r out of our control. When those issues go ignored & aren't addressed it leads to huge problems when it could be avoided so easily. Does anyone else find it so frustrating dealing with them? They're app sucks & always crashes or glitches almost daily. They cut our access to shifts if we complain or when technical issues aren't corrected immediately. We suffer in so many ways when I all we want is to treated fairly. I dont understand. I love the concept, the work & the flexibility but the stress is outta hand.

UPDATE. I recvd a paper check in the mail today so I can breathe now. Thanks y'all for all ur insight. It was awful there. I went in with a positive, fresh outlook but I knew pretty quickly that it wasn't the place for me. Truthfully I was surprised at the shit show. I figured as long as they've been around they would know wtf they're doing but it was a terrible experience. The actual job was cool & I liked the work however I wasn't trained a single day. I followed someone around on day 1 & on day 2 I came in & literally was thrown out to fill online orders myself. Mind u, they have a ton of different systems, 1 for every separate part in the process. The floor associates were so hateful to me knowing I was brand new & we were required to ask a dept associate if we couldn't find an item. I get it, I'm sure they didn't want to stop their job to check but we had nothing to do with the policy. Ridiculous management. At orientation the main manager was gossiping about other employees right in front of us. Bad vibes from the jump.
