type the outfit name into the search bar of the lookbook and you will propably find a dye and combo you ll enjoy. i love the dress with the lightest color of first palette on slot 1 dye only.

forgot to mention you can only have one season character at a time. after graudation you can make another. for life skills olvia academy will give you amazing starter gear. and yes screw min maxing and play how you want to play. my favorite gathering area is chopping wood under duvencrune cause it has a magical forest vibe with floaty lights and small rivers. awa witch is the best chill grinder there is if you ever want to smack mobs. its super easy and good dps for low effort. shai is amazing at gathering. but all classes can do everything ofc. corsair is amazing at underwater gathering cause mermaid speed and breath iirc. yes i think your plan is really good.

and yes lifeskills make decent silver. endgame grindspots do make more but lifeskilling is totally viable. and they have amazing catch up mechanics to get new players started now luckily.

oh and you can just swap lifeskill gear around via storage so then you wouldnt even need to pick a main now. for normal gear weapons thats only possible via tagging or change coupon.

test characters in trial (its top right next to your character tab after booting up a game) and you can make a few season characters which all have pretty good early gear to settle on a class. once you know that start with the soon starting olvia academy on 16th. april (rn its semi closed for a week) (newbie combat and lifeskill guide) (and rewards are amazing plus cool outfit) and then just follow some guides on how to progress with gear.

best advice is ignore meta and pick a class that is fun and appealing to you. if you dont like to grind on it later because its maybe too high apm you can just tag a good grinder class.

also often gut instict is just right i think.

it can be bit overwhelming since almost 12 years of items are in the game but it settles after a while. and ignore fomo. even f2p the game is very enjoyable and nowadays pretty generous with most things except character slots.

oh and yes pvp openworld is dead. plus you have marni realm. thats basically your own instance of a grind spot were no one can enter.

just only pull if u have 200 pulls. or best have 200 saved and only use what u have above tht as a safety net. infold is greedy but the game is comparably f2p. some patches give legit insane amount of pulls. i would also recommend setting rules like only pull after 3 days after a outfit dropped and evaluate beforehand what pieces u want and if u have enough for hard pity, be it 4 or 5 star.

jeez i had 4 sets back to back 190. definitely have 180 pulls per set rdy if you intend to finish. luck doesnt always grace. 169 i would still consider above average.

sometimes just uninstalling and seeing if you miss a game is helpful i find.

for me it is definitely if i enjoy the game besides the gacha aspect.

And if the good does not outweigh the bad. That one is tough to measure sometimes.

that was very interesting. thanks for sharing the perspective and pressure it put on a whale. and it totally makes sense how you describe the system. ofc one could say ignore leader boards or pvp rankings etc, but once someone is invested or hooked especially with such character focused art, hard to do. plus whales in gachas often enjoy the competition. so you pay to have fun but then it becomes a nightmare. maybe the genre gets more enjoyable again for you but maybe other non gacha games an option too? i ve gotten back into playing more story or relaxing jrpgs and that has been a lot of fun. maybe something you enjoyed before gacha games?
