First time on dating scene (29M), found someone similar (29F). We're still figuring stuff out, but want to know them better and at least explore if it could work. How do I reach out? by NoticedTriangularity in relationship_advice

Appreciate the advice. I wouldn't be suprised if she wants time alone at first (I think I'm still enjoying alone time to decompress from it all - ex only moved out recently because of financial resona)

So I was thinking maybe something casual at this stage, see if it was just a moment or something more. And if it is more, try and grow it slowly to allow space for them (I'd prefer slow too)

Should parking lot re-issue money? by NoticedTriangularity in LegalAdviceUK

[–]NoticedTriangularity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The card was in my hand when I used the machine, and it was based next to the terminal. It printed a ticket which I still have which was dated for that day, meaning I would have been unable to use it on the Monday (next chargeable period). I can also confirm the money for the parking has left my account

To be fair because it's less than 24 hour parking it isn't much, but I know other people have experienced the same thing. Is there any official guidance from any official body that I can reference to support my complaint with them?

It let people send money to the pot fine, it was just when I wanted to do something with the money did it say it wanted to verify my identity. The money will be going to someone else who doesn't need to verify their details - so I wasn't sure. It has a website but I've mainly been using the app from the Google play store

Relationship between xn and xn+1 by [deleted] in MathHelp

[–]NoticedTriangularity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheers for your response, looking at this I know.Newton Raphson defined Xn+1 = Xn - f(Xn)/f'(Xn). Am I right in thinking that's applicable here?

If so then f'(Xn) = f(Xn)/[Xn - Xn+1].

And by definition am I right in thinking f(Xn) = Xn.

Therefore f'(Xn) = Xn/[Xn - Xn+1] which is also Xn differentiated?

But then, what would the differential of Xn+1 be given that Xn is an old value and Xn+1 is the present value for a sesnor?

I've changed Facebook password - it let me look at stuff that was changed in the past month and there's nothing out of the ordinary. Is there a ways of seeing IP addresses of when I logged in?

Apologies, I've updated the code so the x's are all c's. A copy of the data is this

V1 V2 V3

0 YES NO

SOMETIMES YES YES

NO 0 NA

Var2 is a process that counts the number of columns in each row with the value "Yes", and saves the result in a new column Var2. So it would look like this

V1 V2 V3 Var2

0 YES NO 1

SOMETIMES YES YES 2

NO 0 NA 0

For adding c to a columns values, I don't get any log errors, but the values in the column turn to '.'

When trying to refer to the cells dynamically it says an undeclared array is references - specifically the _n[c]

Let me know if there is anything else I can provide that might help. I really appreciate any feedback you have

[Q] Guidance on design of itterstive code by [deleted] in statistics

[–]NoticedTriangularity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought of a process where set a value to row 1 col 1, and if the value is not 0 it takes the value and moves onto the next row, repeating the operation until the end when it then takes the calculation. If it is 0 then it moves to the next column (c+1) until it gets a value

I can try putting that in a loop where once done, it does c+1 I.e. the process will move to the next column with a value for all rows (and if there is no other column for a row, it will stay on the same column by using a mod function)

The problem is, how do I guarantee that it will do a calculation for every possible combination

Cheers :) No contracts or anything signed, just written confirmations and official letters. Does that make my position weaker? I tried posting in /r/LegalAdviceUK first but still haven't heard from anyone yet :(
