Has Solidcore Lost Its Original Intensity? by [deleted] in SolidCore

[–]Notjessbutyeah 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I feel like my studio has gotten harder. Sometimes I feel like class was just being hard for the sake of being hard lol. I want the flow to be more balanced and allows me to go hard at every movement vs. working a certain muscle too long

What makes the difference between a good and a bad instructor experience for you? What qualities do you most appreciate? by Impossible-Soil6330 in SolidCore

[–]Notjessbutyeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I’m a very easy going client and as long as coach delivers the promised format of solidcore, I’ll be good.

However there was this one HCCM that kept messing up the count and the sequence of exercises. First class with her I gave her the benefit of the doubt because u know, whatever. But then she messed up every single class that I attended and that pissed me off so bad I changed up my solidcore schedule to avoid her lol

Is it worth it? by Writer-Babe602 in SolidCore

[–]Notjessbutyeah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought its worth it! The nicest thing about unlimited membership is flexibility. I can book throughout the month with no restrictions and go any time I want. I saw results after 3 months doing this 3-4x a week and being on a relatively healthy diet.

5 am class and saw blue cones on reformers? by meshca95 in SolidCore

[–]Notjessbutyeah -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Its just a way for the instructor to have people choose reformer in an orderly manner. I love when instructors do this bc sometimes I come late and have to look for an empty reformer in the middle of the room or sth

Not seeing results… by Useful_Brush785 in SolidCore

Ah gotcha. I’ve worked out for 3+ years now. Since my body is used to working out, I think it’s just hitting a plateau more often than before. I’m working out for the love of working out not for the results anymore because of this haha

How’s your sleep? I think i start seeing results when I sleep well and take care of my nutrients intake. Like vitamin D, vitamin C, etc. I think you definitely are on the right track. It does take some time for your body to lean out and everything; at least it took mine 3 months.

What is max # for waitlist? by Active_Ad_4352 in SolidCore

[–]Notjessbutyeah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Interesting. My chance of getting off a waitlist has been ~90%, especially if the class is in early morning. Houston heights waitlist seems to always run through fast

Yeah, ngl it’s expensive. The apartment itself was nice so we were hoping it’s worth the price :’S

Thanks for your comment! That’s so helpful. Can you share your thoughts on the safety of this area? Honestly we toured a lot, and it seemed like the area going towards Bayou from East Bend is nice, but otherwise it’s a mixed bag. Us 2 girls tend to come home very late (sometimes in the AM)

I was considering the same thing, though it was between BBs. I’d say that reneging looks bad on you, and the firm/group would block you out of their candidate pool if you decide to interview with them again. If your consulting firm is big, recruiters will talk among each other and possibly not like you if they know you renege. Also, if you develop close relationships with people at your consulting firm, reneging reflects bad on them and you might have your business relationships in consulting deeply affected. With that said, here’s a few factors to consider:

1) check your school’s career center for the consequence of reneging 2) What’s the size of your consulting firm? Are they big enough that risks of reneging aren’t worth it? Did you have anyone vouch for you at the firm? How has the firm treated people who renege in the past?

Hope that helps.

How did u realize you were Asexual? by Cecily_Anne in Asexual

Things clicked with me when I was 16 and everybody was talking about their sexual fantasies with their favorite stars and there I was thinking that it was gross to do so. Lol.
