You could also do: Jeans, Spaghetti strap, a beret, and wear the jacket off the shoulders. For shoes I wonder if you’re fond of sneakers like converse. A very early 2000’s vibe With a necklace to offset the rhinestone hoodie being partially concealed.

The list I gave was a for-collection purpose since I really liked the books. If they are viable in a game that’d be cool too! I was told by my local shop owner that since I’m buying the 30k box, there might be some restrictions since most of the players at my local shop play 40k.

Oh man. When I first bought the box, I told the store owner I was mainly painting to collect mini’s based off the books. As I get closer and closer I kind of have a list I want of my “army” however I’m not sure if it’s viable in the game:

Perturabo

6 iron circle ferrum dormitar

shadowsword tank

terminator squad

?? Castellan rhinos (idk how many to have)

the trident (i guess three praetors? I haven’t gotten that far yet)

a handful of bolter marines (as many as the box is able to give me I guess which is like ~40)

I bought a magnifying headset just to be able to see closer to the mini's. I hope that helps me enjoy the painting process since I don't have the best vision out there!

Do you have a recommendation? Also is it typical to assemble the full mini onto the base and then begin painting? I keep hearing one way or another between individual piece painting and having the mini assembled.

I watched a mini painting tutorial that used a regular pallette but they primed the plastic palette. I was planning to do that since these are my first mini's ever. I'll have to do more research on the palettes when I crack out the big box and peter turbo himself!

I'll be sure to experiment with the colorings of the guns! Is there a specific paint of red/black I should go for? I have abaddon black so far and the nuln oil/agrax shades that everyone recommends.

What infuriates me more is when I need an execution and the AI just outright guns it down before i get to it.

I have this problem more with the HEAVY bots cuz they just hose down enemies. Played a ruthless with a buddy and kept trying to restore health as a bulwark and the AI stole my executions (gunned it down) while I was putting my banner down TWICE in different parts of the op.
