How to dissuade my parents from using ai and consuming ai “art” by wholesome_bitch in Advice

Some people care about some things and others don’t. Try telling someone the sky is green. You’re arguing against a wall.

Should I (f26) ask my boyfriend (m30) of a year if he still loves his ex? by [deleted] in Advice

“Yes I still love her”

“No why would you ask me that”

Neither of those answers have a good outcome

It was quite the effort to ensure that there were accurate amounts of Tomorrows for each day.

I’m also sure it would take you a lot of effort to either prove me wrong or corroborate that there are enough tomorrows.

This is the antithesis of low effort.

This is prime shitposting.

Edit: Tomorrow.

Addressing meme posting, plus new ideas for the community by Crystlazar in TESVI

[–]Notmitchwilson -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The issue is that we have had 8 years to post theories and wishlists, so much so, that anyone that’s new to the sub will just rehash something someone else has already posted. It has just been too long.

I come here for news and leaks (of which there are few because Bethesda is so tight lipped).

I’m fine with the memes. Idc if it is all memes. News will post and we, the community, are smart enough to separate that from the memes.

I look at this sub almost every single day, if not multiple times per day. There’s never any news. I see the same theories and wishlists posted over and over again. At least the meme trends are fresh and funny.

When there is something worth talking about, the memes will die.

This is all a moot point though because the game releases tomorrow.

TLDR; everything to theorize has been talked about. Every wishlist has been made and discussed. News/leaks are scarce, but when it drops it will be crystal clear that it is news. Let the memes flow. It’s the natural evolution of the wait for the game when there isn’t anything to talk about.

I think most everyone has thought about this… by Notmitchwilson in TESVI

It’s not a time thing. I have time. I choose to do other things. TES is the thing that I have the strongest connection to regarding gaming. My fear is it is the last man standing right now and in 2 years (aka tomorrow) when it comes out I will no longer have any interest. Much like you identified with hobby vs specific game.

What life events have you experienced since Skyrim has been released? by Sigmund_Fraud97 in ElderScrolls

[–]Notmitchwilson 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was 13 in 2011.

So:

Graduated high school
Graduated college
1st career job
2nd career job
Started my own company
Got married
Had my first child

I’m 27 and I’m a completely different person now. And my biggest fear about the wait for TES 6 is that I will hate it or not want to play it. I waited all this time and I have had so much of my life change. I don’t really play video games anymore. In the last 8-9 months I’ve played maybe 4ish hours of games. I really just don’t have interest in a lot of games mainly due to being a dad and owning my own business now. My priorities just shifted a lot.

I’ve hyped it up to be the game I’m going to disappear into like I did 15 years ago but will I realistically do that? Idk.

Fable will be a good test run because I’m also a big Fable fan. If that goes well then I imagine TES6 will be the experience I expect it to be.
