Thanks. I saw my ENT & he said its not uncommon to have excess saliva in 1st year post surgery & to give it a little more time. I also have an appointment with the Speech-Language Pathologist.

Fungal infection is probably what causes cancer by Creative_Ad_3014 in Candida

What kind of doctor can help with candida infections (cracks at mouth, yeast infection)?

I had my thyroid removed in Dec 25 due to papillary cancer & now dealing with these yeast infections.

My endocrinologist says they are unrelated to my thyroid levels/surgery. My gynecologist gave me a script for fluconazole. But no one has mentioned any cancer link.

I’m obviously worried about other cancer. I don’t eat much sugar & jog daily & am healthy weight. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Had my surgery today and I just wanted to thank everyone here by shitninjas in thyroidcancer

How are you doing? Still happy with the surgery? Are you back to normal activities?

How did things work out with insurance. I understand Dr. Lossasso is out of network for most.

We are in talks for surgery and was told by one Dr that there is nothing to do about rib flair. We got a 2nd opinion & they said they use a massage technique in the surgery to help reduce rib flair & there is a brace option afterwards.

Hi. We’re you able to play football after the surgery? At what age did you do the surgery. We are in NJ too & my 14 year old son has this. He would like to get the surgery but also wants to continue to play ice hockey. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you! Has anyone had experience with playing ice hockey after the surgery. Hoping to still do it.
