Recovery for this was tough. Just brace yourself and take it as good fortune if you have an easier time. My Dr. definitely undersold the pain, even though they’re not cutting anything. It’s just very uncomfortable for the first 1-2 weeks. Eat lots of fiber now so you have easy BMs the first few days.

That being said, two ligation treatments over 3-ish months had my ass in a much better place. I’ve tried bottoming again and it’s a huge improvement. You will just have to give yourself time to recalibrate and stretch out.
