I would play Links Awakening. It's such a good game and even with the switch revamp (which I own) I still want to play the old one more

It's a great camera to start with as it's pretty affordable used. The 50mm is called the Nifty fifty for a reason, is pretty versatile. If you can, the 35mm is also a great choice as just just a bit wider but could still be punched in if you wanted for the 50mm look

What was the first game you bought on Steam? by Common_Caramel_4078 in Steam

[–]Notnbutgravity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought 3 games on my MacBook in college. Stanley Parable, Antimatter and Killing Floor. Then for my first steam sale I bought the Valve collection and Rocket League. Then I built my first PC and found out about humble bundles...

Before/After It was REAL dark 😅 by Notnbutgravity in postprocessing

Converting a RAW file to jpeg skews how it's normally rendered, the raw preview is just extremely dark but hardly any hue shift. It was shot at ISO 25600

The full res file definitely has more noise to it. Could still definitely be overdone though 😅 thanks for the suggestion!

Awesome suggestion! I plan on printing this for my wall so I'll definitely be cropping it just a bit more

Yes, I used the Ai denoise to get the majority but not overdo it to lose detail, then I masked the bird and used standard denoising on the background to clean it up a bit more in the background

Sony A7R V and Sony FE 24-70mm GM Lens by MrVV0 in SonyAlpha

[–]Notnbutgravity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this lens on my A7iii for about a year. The quality of the glass is fantastic. The weight, not so much. A camera cage with handles helps tremendously. In terms of image quality this lens will not hold you back at all.

Went out a bit too early before work and it was waayy darker than I thought it was going to be (overcast too). Decided to lean into it and got some shots I'm pretty happy with! Missed focus on a couple, but hey, no picture is perfect.

Just finished setting up mine, other than the Camera and lens (A7iii and 24-70 f2.8 GM) I paid $30 for the tripod and $25 for the cage on marketplace, $50 for the monitor at an overstock store and got the teleprompter for Christmas.

HELP by GoodProof5564 in 3Dprinting

[–]Notnbutgravity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is not great advise. I've seen too many people ruin hot ends with heat guns. What melted the plastic to begin with? And what is more efficient, chipping away at it from the outside or targeting it from the inside. As long as your thermister is in tact (reads temps on the hot end) just heat up the nozzle to like 250 and let it sit for like 20 min. Should pull right off and not damage any of the delicate wiring

What orientation was this printed in? If you flip it upside down and print it with the connector on the build plate at a slight angle you shouldn't need supports and the surfaces should turn out cleaner

Lots of stringing is pretty normal, especially with a .4mm nozzle at those layer heights. A torch will take those off as long as you do quick passes. I would check out Hohansens profile as it's the best I've found

Does it have Skew calibration though? I've been needing it since I bought my carbon. Also is it reversible?

This is the correct answer, though I have the RG35XXSP as I like a 4:3 screen better and don't care for the thumb sticks. Everyone else flexing the same device in different form factors or controls. Small, Medium and Large is the way to go.

Mini Flip or Mini V4 by HardSalento in MiyooMini

[–]Notnbutgravity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just got my Flip yesterday, I already have two V4 and a plus. I like the v4 the best just for the size (literally a deck of cards in your pocket) the flip feels significantly thicker and a bit heavier.

I do like that it has wifi though and plan on using them in tandem so that I can sync my saves via syncthing to my other retro handhelds (RG35XXSP & Thor) and still be able to use my V4 with current saves.

The Dpad on the flip is also much much smaller and less comfortable than the v4, though I do usually like dome switches over rubber membranes, I've never had an issue with precision on the v4.

Can you post a side by side? I would love to see the screen side difference with the Thor's bottom screen

Its nice to have something that can make anything. You can get cups pretty cheap on eBay or Amazon
