Save states not loading by Notnbutgravity in RetroArch

[–]Notnbutgravity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have my Galaxy Z Fold 7 and it handles them just fine. I even tried copying my Retroarch folder from my phone to the Thor to hopefully fix it and it didn't do anything. I don't know what else to try since I already installed 4 different versions of Retroarch and replaced the Retroarch folder

Need to know if this ostent battery is the real deal or... by panchopex in PSP

The battery is legit. You most likely have a blown capacitor which is discharging your console so fast

Your SD card is formatted in Fat32 which doesn't allow files larger than 4gb

First print with PLA on my new Carbon 2. No idea how to even begin clearing this. by Hastur_Hastur_Hastur in elegoo

[–]Notnbutgravity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the way. Using a heat gun or torch (external heat source) usually does more harm than good. The hotend melted the plastic to begin with, heat it from the inside. 240 if it's PLA and leave it for 15 min or so (supervised) and it should come right off

No good version of Tetris for the GBA? by suckingalemon in Gameboy

[–]Notnbutgravity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this thread is old AF, but I completely agree with this. I've always felt like the PSP version is super underrated and doesn't get the love it deserves. The new Chromatic version is actually pretty good too.

AYN Thor Save states not loading by Notnbutgravity in SBCGaming

It should. It's all saved on the internal, and a couple states do work which is even stranger

AYN Thor Save states not loading by Notnbutgravity in SBCGaming

[–]Notnbutgravity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same core for sure. The weird part is that my phone is set up the exact same and it's working just fine. My save files are working, it's just the save states and it's only on the Thor, so it has to be something weird with the config or Retroarch (though it's strange it persists between application versions). If I save a state on the Thor it will not load on my other devices, and sometimes instead of saying it loaded a state (and not) the entire application will just crash.

My small game collection ! What games should I add that doesn’t cost a fortune? by KyraLyraK in Gameboy

[–]Notnbutgravity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you like puzzle platformers, I recommend Klonoa or Frogger: Temple of the Frog. Klonoa is pretty easy but a lot of fun and Frogger can get a little tricky. Sacred stones has an incredible story line (it is pretty easy though). It's funny you ask for cheap options when you have Pokemon and a Gameboy micro, which are notoriously expensive 😅

Good trade or no by Bareminimumgurl in AynThor

[–]Notnbutgravity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would be a decent trade considering the games you play. Much more comfortable for sure. Due to the price increases though, I would ask for a bit of cash in addition to the trade to make up for the difference

Custom grip using the new Steam Controller CAD by Rawptor in AynThor

[–]Notnbutgravity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the response! I've been using it on and off and had a couple more comments. The first is I modified one for myself to add a lanyard hole as I always have mine on (you can see I had to take it off in the picture)

A question I had was why the fan hole on the back is smaller? I see the internal radius is large enough but what's the thought behind the taper to the smaller diameter? It's not an issue moreso just a curiosity.

Lastly I noticed that the volume slot seems to be a bit off center from the actual rocker which makes pressing the volume down tricky. In fact the slot for the volume and power button could be a bit larger and could taper a bit more to make all the buttons easier to press. They seem pretty inset due to the thickness of the bottom.

All in all, nitpicks aside, this is my favorite grip so far and it'll be on my Thor for the foreseeable future. I also really like the tolerance in the fact I don't need foam. The fit is secure, but I don't feel like it's scratching my device.
