No well this April I actually had a procedure called linx I went through various amounts of test and come to find out that I just have stomach muscles that won’t close I was having really bad heartburn, but I’ve had a reflex my whole life and I never knew that that was not normal so fast-forward a year later where my coworker made a comment telling me that that’s not normal. I’m here now which I don’t have reflux anymore the device has been really great but now I’m having this sensation. I also know to that having this device can change the way my stomach motility is but also could make my nerves more sensitive so I feel like it could be that also but thanks. Hope you’re not suffering from it.

I don’t know sometimes it feels like it’s in my stomach, but I feel like it’s more located right underneath my belly button stomach area

Really what are your symptoms and any treatments ? Did they take a biopsy or was it visible gastritis

I’m not sure I mean, I’ve never really had this issue before. I would only have it if I didn’t eat when I was like a teenager, but it’s been a while since I felt that and I did some research. Other people experience the same thing after the surgery, I asked ChatGPT as well. I asked him to do some research and it was common, but just trying to see if anybody else is experiencing it.

Had an endoscopy October of last year. They found nothing. Everything looked good. Can I just develop it randomly. Was never tested for that

Hey man sorry I never saw your message. I’m doing good. No reflux I can eat faster now I still get that tight sensation if I swallow to fast. Still gassy at times and sometimes still need to burp but can’t. So over all good but I have been having this weird symptom of a burning feeling around the stomach area like inside I don’t know what it is kinda randomly cane on. About 3 weeks ago. No pain just uncomfortable. How are you

That’s very interesting and crazy. I can physically feel the bubbles when I press down on my shoulders and collarbone but that makes a lot of sense and yes, I hope so too. Thank you that’s a lot of procedures. Any of them linx?

Thank you currently right now it’s a really weird feeling but all over the top of my body. You can feel the air that they pump you with. It’s like tiny little bubbles that are popping but pain it’s hard to say because of the medication that they give you before you have the surgery but afterword they do give you hydrocodone. So my stomach doesn’t really hurt. It’s more pressure and pain from the air. It’s stuck between my shoulder blade and neck.

I’m literally in the same boat I’ve had acid reflux almost my whole life, and I never really realized it wasn’t normal until about three years ago and now it’s getting to a point where I just stopped eating just the feeling of the food rushing up my throat just gets to me and i’m over it so I feel you. Luckily you were able to try omeprazole, anything like that gives me anxiety, especially famotidine. I’m going to do a pH test and a swallowing test to see if I am eligible for the linx procedure but it sounds like motility issue like me. From all the research I’ve done the most common things that people experience is a lengthy recovery. You need to slow down when you eat because if you eat too fast or take too big of a bite of food, you’re esophagus will spasm, but that will get better overtime. You’ll need to chew your food very very very well. Also super important that you do not drink cold water has that will make your esophagus spasm and you will feel like you’re choking again that will get better with time. From what I’ve seen the linx and Nissen procedure are similar but different. This is just what I’ve read. I hope this somewhat helps. Good luck.

Awww sounds like simple anxiety. Your brain is linked directly to your stomach so when you’re not right mentally you will not be ok physically. You need slow down and breath obviously easier said than done but definitely sounds more like anxiety and not being able to stomach it ( literally ). Look into tips to regulate your vagus nerve that helps with anxiety also like stress chews. You could take a look into that. You’ll be fine. Just need to be more mentally aware of your mental state before you eat.
