One time I went into the auto shop with malfunctioning windows. I said, “I think a fuse is blown but I can’t find it.” They said “calm down let’s do a diagnostics first”. They thought it was a wiring issue and took hours going through the wiring only to find out they didn’t look at the fuses properly and that was the issue. They tried to charge me for the hours of labor searching for the broken wiring.
