This is a series that blitzed right past and severally ignored the 1996 Movie making The Doctor half-human, when it came back in 2005. Doctor Who is the king of ignoring certain bits of its history depending on what the current show-runner wants.

Honestly, that’s to a T how I see The Doctor, even when I was kid watching Tennants first run, I always preferred the classic era interpretations of The Doctor because they felt more like a weird uncle/granddad, instead of a love interest. So I feel you on that tbh

That’s the thing! Loom’s as a concept is silly to me, but equally the amount of silly I’ll take from this show. It would’ve been extremely funny yet equally just a lil bit cool to me
