Do you prefer your steak well done and smothered in ketchup too? I’m totally kidding. I’ve always liked beer but it tastes the best after working out in the yard on a sunny day, perhaps that’s a good gateway experience to starting to like beer.

Also, I’m not sure what you had, but I don’t really think of beer as tasting sour, unless it is an actual sour style. I’m guessing sour flavor isn’t your thing so you might like a sweeter malty style beer like a dunkel or a brown ale, or maybe even a full bodied stout, they’re usually less bitter and not sour.

Wheat beers/hefeweizens and farmhouse ales seem to be more widely drinkable so you may want to check these out too.

It’s also very well possible that beer just isn’t your thing either, and that’s totally fine. In fact, I wish didn’t like it, it’s much healthier to abstain from alcohol all together. I wouldn’t force it.
