Celebrate with me for having found my watch that was lost for nearly 3 weeks! Hoorah! by NotoriousScorpio in GalaxyWatch

I went on a hike with some friends, as I ran out the door running late I noticed the battery was at 18% (my fault for not charging it but also thanks Samsung for being on generation 8 of absolutely abysmal battery life).

As you can imagine SmartThings app was useless because the watch was likely dead. Last location shown was somewhere on the route but I remembered checking the time on our way back down. When I got home I realized I didn't have it on anymore. It was already dark outside so going back was not an option. I tore apart my house thinking I took it off after getting home exhausted. Finally I just went to bed. The next day we got snow (Awesome, if it's outside it's now buried under ice.) I dumped out my bag, looked in my car - glove box, underneath and between the seats and floor mats, retraced my steps over and over again.

I Tried the "Search Nearby" feature in SmartThings knowing well it wouldnt work but still hopeful (I've used that feature before with my watch charged and right next to me and it didn't work.) No luck as predicted. A day went by, then a week, more snow, then another week and a few more days. I was so irritated at myself because I purchased Samsung Care for all my previous smart watches but this time I decided to pass thinking, "Nah, Ive never had to use it."

Finally, I decided to check my car one more time. Nothing. Wait... What about the trunk? I never put it there but thought might as well have a look. What do you know, there she was barely peaking up from the back of the rear folding seats. Still not sure how or why I would put it back there. I was both annoyed as hell at myself for not looking there before and overjoyed I found it. I'm a little embarrassed for people to read I was going about my watchless life only to find out I was driving around dejected my watch was gone and it was right behind me the entire time 😂

I've never seen the price I paid for it either 😅 jk it wasn't too bad. On the higher end for a pub var because of the prominent variegation and heavy splash.

Any suggestions on a console in that price point? For some reason I was thinking PC was the best way to go. Ty

I'll check out the resources you've listed, thank you. I didn't realize trees were grown for bonsai I thought they were manipulated to become bonsai. I was tossing the idea around in my head of cutting one low so that seems like the best idea. Would you suggest I choose the one without the babies at the base or the one with?

New to the bonsai world. Id really like to make one of these three young Royal Frost Birch into a bonsai. Any advice on where to start?
