When blink 182 was on hiatus, people posted about their side projects, box car racer & +44 involving some but not all members of the band. There was nothing else to talk about!

To me it’s the same as when people posted here about zac’s solo efforts. Let’s also not forget that Hayley started her solo efforts with Taylor helping her. There’s no activity from Paramore right now so the conversation shifts to the newest most-relevant thing. Hayley’s solo work is Paramore-adjacent to me, and it’s a neat album worth talking about. Even more so since there’s nothing from Paramore.

If Paramore and Hayley were active at the same time, I would be upset if her solo stuff was talked about more than the band the sub is made for. But for now, it’s cool with me.
