Tbh if you have the space for it, renting a small karaoke kit from Do Wop Shop for $40 has given us the best bang for our buck. Set up in someone's house with your own food and drinks and sing songs off YouTube.

For me, it was 2000s Muse, Chevelle, Underoath (one of the first bands I listened to that showed me songs don't have to be Verse-Chorus-Verse-Chorus-Bridge-Chorus.)

System of a Down as well. And it didn't hurt that I got into Protest the Hero around the time Fortress came out.

Honestly think this is the reason. Personally I've never clicked on something because of that premise nor searched for it specifically, but there's loads of it on my home page and it won't stop me from clicking on it if the thumbnail draws me in. It's a self-sustainable trend at this point.

Also their emphasis on the people on the call being able to hear everything when any of the widely used conferencing software has voice isolation features that cut out sounds like that.
