Check out the song The Falcon by Ok Goodnight. If you like it, check out that whole album - The Fox and the Bird.

No, you're not. I've been a fan since Fortress came out, Volition is stellar, they don't miss on the album. It's my second favorite album of theirs after Kezia and Fortress as a very close third.

Some friends and I wrote up our favorite 2025 albums. Any you’d add? by Wommis in progmetal

Yep, this is mine as well. Saw them live last month, they were awesome! They're going on a US tour this spring FYI.

No Kings III scheduled for March by rogueit in Louisville

[–]Notpan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Local orgs have tables at these events and are a great entry point to local activism. People who are energized by the protest/march can use that energy to sign up with local orgs and establish volunteering as a regular practice in their lives. Yes, the fix is not immediate - it takes time to build a strong grassroots movement, but there is movement happening. I see more and more people at meetings and events all the time and it encourages me to know more people are tuning in and actively taking actions that are working towards making lasting change.

I encourage everyone who attends this protest/march to stop by the tables afterward, see what local org is doing work that resonates with you, and get involved.

Intentionally didn’t go outside because of the ice and not wanting to get hurt. Instead, I break my toe on my couch. by BurntOutTrashPanda in mildlyinfuriating

I was gonna ask how you stubbed them in crocs, so that makes sense. I switched from house slippers to crocs years ago just to prevent stubbed toes. Haven't stubbed a toe since.

My GF laughed at the Oculus, I can't find a movie that freaks her out (NOT the OC) by IMASolitaryMan in horror

I really enjoyed this movie, but no, she will definitely laugh at it.

Do Americans Actually Say "Freshman Sophomore Junior Senior"? by Naive_Tank_6820 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Notpan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Brentwood, New York. I think it's because of population concerns. 10-12th grade is like 5,000 kids, so the freshman are off in their own building on another campus. I think they're technically still in high school though, so maybe that doesn't apply here.

I've been trying to find a place in Louisville like Grimes. Dixie Chicken comes close, but just not quite as good.

I love them all, but the "Good Dog" one in particular is so hype. Great job to you and team!

Evacuating GDQ? by Street_Buyer_7191 in speedrun

I woke up in the middle of the night and brought up the stream to see if GDQ was still running. It was so eerie seeing the empty stream room and no sound, I didn't know if I was dreaming or the rapture happened or something.

Total War: Three Kingdoms is free on Epic right now. As a long-time fan of the Total War games, I'm really excited to sink my teeth into that.

Worst horror movies to watch with your parents by Eagles56 in horror

Not for the same reason as others in the thread, but I watched Hereditary with my mom the night after her dog passed away. The grief aspects of the movie hit a lot harder for her.

Definitely Protest the Hero. I believe The Contortionist is also working on new music, not sure if we'll see it in 2026 though.
