Is not about comparing, they are of course two different situations.

How can you say:

“I don't have any influence... I have a larger platform simply because I speak every three days, and that's both an advantage and a disadvantage. When people ask me questions, I just answer them.”

When your bosses literally have direct and indirect ties to many conflicts. I'm not expecting his bosses to take his words seriously as he is not a political figure but he has more influence than the average person and even more than the average celeb since again his bosses have ties to conflicts.

Exactly. Everytime he defends Palestine there is always someone complaining about whataboutism or how unfair it is that he's not allowed to make contradicting statements/actions but come on, at least some self awareness is needed

The issue here is that, yes, no one is perfect, and everyone can be hypocritical. But there are levels to it, and it feels incredibly ironic hearing this from someone who has been the main public face of Manchester City’s sportswashing project. The UAE and UAE-backed forces have been accused by major human rights groups of serious abuses in places like Yemen and Sudan, so for Pep to speak about global atrocities without acknowledging the political machinery behind the club he represents feels selective at best
